The annual Film Music Concert in Canada Square is back again this year, although this time inconveniently it is on a Sunday instead of a Friday.

Concert usually includes the famous John Williams scores - Jurassic Park, Superman, Indiana Jones, Star Wars etc as well as John Barry stuff and themes such as Star Trek.
Admittance is FREE, it is in Canada Square which is an open grass space next to Canary Wharf.
Now, last year security were iffy on people having lightsabers and threatened to throw us out, not sure if they'll be the same this time.
I have attended the last couple of years and have found it to be excellent.
I am unsure if I can go on a Sunday, but I am trying to get the time off.
Who is interested in attending?

Excellent.
If I do attend I'm unlikely to bring my FX sabre with me, I'll be coming from work and it's too hard to take fit it in my locker.
I can always bring my Indy hat instead

Upon more detailed checking it seems like this year's event may not be until August.

Wasn't bad.
Was essentially only Sci-fi stuff, rather then a mix of film music like in previous years.
Was fun, especially the whole crowd trying to do the Close Encounters Alien hand gesture while they played the 5 notes.
Plus they played Star Wars theme twice, which is always welcome
