Your fan force chapter is cordially invited to attend the 2006 North East FanForce Awards Banquet on Saturday, April 22, 2006. The event will be hosted by the Star Wars Association of Pittsburgh on the same weekend as the annual Pittsburgh Comicon, were several Star Wars celebrities are scheduled to appear.
If interested in attending, more detailed information is posted in the thread linked below.

The deadline for ordering a ticket to the Fan Force banquet is April 7. For more ticket info please visit this thread.

That's a pretty reasonable Star Wars line-up. I only wish it were closer to home.
Having driven to Pittsburgh and back a few weeks ago, I can definitely say it's not that bad of a drive -- about seven hours each way if you manage to avoid traffic and don't make too many rest stops. However, that was a business trip that had me staying in Pittsburgh for a whole week. The same trip to spend one day at the con, as good as the con might be, is a little harder to justify. Then again, I plan on driving to Dragon*Con for the second time.
Hmm. Perhaps I can convince my clients that they need me in Pittsburgh again...

I can't make it either. Billy will be away, and so I'll have to stay home to pill cats. Probably just as well - I shouldn't be spending money on a con right before going to Ireland!

Does your chapter have a costumed group photo u would liek to submit ofr the costuming award?
Or a fanfilm?
You can still compete even though you wont be attending

If you are coming to the Comicon Banquet the deadline to get your money in is due 7th. Tickets are $25.
You have two options for payment
1. Paypal - the email address to send payment to is swapgh@gmail.com
or
2. Mail me a check

FanForce Awards Banquet Deadline Extended to 4/10. I decided to give everyone a couple extra days to get in thier money. I hope this helps with anyone that was on the fence about coming.
