You asked me to look into Cantiague Park
(480 West John St.,Hicksville) as possible
summer meeeting place. It's right down the
road from the Mall. By the train station. If
It rains we can just down the road to the mall.
Well, I looked in Newsday's 2005 Fun Book(250pgs
places & things to do on Long Island. But,
according to Samantha on City boards there is
nothing to do on LI. LOL!!!  )
Facilities 115 acres, picnic area,
playground, table game area, horseshoe pits,
boccie court, shuffleboard, basketball & handball
courts, tennis courts (fee), lighted football-
lacrosse field,soccer field, softball field
(permit), jogging course, 9-hole golf course,
lighted driving range, miniature golf, ice rink,
theme park pool, snack Bar. Info. 516-571-7052

Did anyone have a chance to scout out a specific location at Cantiague Park for a meeting? If this park works, it's probably the ideal location due to its proximity to the Broadway Mall.
Some of us did pick out a nice location in Eisenhower Park: Drive to parking lot 2, then walk into the park on the main path from the lot. There are a number of picnic benches off to the right that we can arrange as needed.

I like Eisenhower Park mainly because just about everyone knows where it is.
Do we want to try it out for the May meeting?

park before Sat.to check it out  . My life has be
Nuts since I got back. I havent gotten done since
I got back  . Sat Will be My 1st day off since I got
back from FL.I see It's gonna rain everyday for next 7 days
