well,just saw 3 more channel of weather and the
rain got pushed back to wed. Well, It looks
i'm not going. it's no big deal.Just wasn't
in the cards.I went to doctor friday and I'm
just getting over strep(sp?) throat anyway.

The trip appears to be on as of today! The weather in Jackson, NJ will be partly cloudy and a high of 77 degrees Fahrenheit! Remember to check here before you leave tomorrow in case of any last minute changes.
This is a link to a map of Great Adventure(it is a PDF file). I say we meet by the park's entrance gate by guest relations (the smiley face on the map). Look for a group of people wearing DB 516 T-shirts, Aerosith T-shirts (most likely saying "The Sith is Right"), or wearing any other Star Wars shirts. The time we arrive and meet depends on traffic.
The tickets purchased by the majority of us included tickets to Six Flags Wild Safari! This is a link to the map of The Wild Safari (it is also a PDF file). We are planning to visit the safari at some point during the day when we need to rest and enjoy some air conditioning. 
If you are planning to attend please post that you are or e-mail me at founder@db516.com so we know to wait for you tomorrow when we meet up.

I had a good time, despite the annoying drizzle in the afternoon and poor Tim and Rob (Dana's Rob) being denied their ride on Kingda Ka because of the weather JUST as they were strapped in.   Even going on a weekday didn't deter many people; there were plenty of teens there on class trips. In a way the slightly meh weather chased some people away and let us ride Nitro after only a 10-15 minute wait. 
AND WE GOT DANA ON NITRO!!!!!!!!!!!! 
(She's never going on a coaster again, but it's still an achievement. And we got the photos to prove it. )
We also did the Wild Safari tour. All the animals were actually out and visible, so we got our money's worth. And we saw a couple of baboons doing the, er...love dance. 
It was me, Dan, Tim, Marie, Dana, and Rob. After the park Dana and Rob stayed to shop for souvenirs while the rest of us went back to my town and pigged out at Zapata's again. I am slowly converting DB516 to the Zapata Side, MUA-HA. 
We definitely have to go back sometime, though, because a bunch of the rides were closed, and El Toro wasn't open yet.

El Toro opened yesterday cuz I heard a good reviews of
on 1010 wins when I was coming home last nite from work
(I closed-Yuk!). They even got the reporter to go on it.
