	Hey guys, This Sunday were having the BBQ meeting in Cantiague park. I'd like a general food order from everybody - How many Hamburgers and Hot dogs you want. Please respond if you are not going to attend, so I can cross you off the list. Your free to bring your own food to cook if you want. Remember, bring any drinks or snacks that you want. 	The Minutes Docking Bay 516 Meeting # 56 Sunday July 8, 2007 start 11:55 am at Cantiague Park Hicksville NY Prior Events Recap ------------------ -- Past Events Jun 16 Star Wars Day at Ronkonkoma Post Office 11 AM - 3 PM Ronkonkoma Main Branch Higly Db516 costumed characters - Darth Vader, Darth Maul and clone, The Emperor, two Storm Troopers, Princess Leia, Jedi Luke Skywalker, Obi Wan Kenobi, and Yoda all appeared posing for photos and greeting fans who came to buy the new Star Wars stamps. The Post Office made alot of money and has asked us to come back possibly for the release of the Yoda stamp sheet in Late September / October. Jun 23-24 Big Apple Con at Penn Plaza. No one attended Jun 28 Kaboom: The History of Special Effects at 7 PM in Roslyn (Bryant PL) The event was cancelled last minute because of weather, so DB516 spent the evening out at dinner. Upcoming Events --------------- July 14, 2007 Transformers Cartoon Marathon -- location TBD. Dinner after. July 15, 2007 1 PM - 9 PM Who-Tennany viewing party # 2 -- Watching the first series Episodes 11-13 then Series #2 (2006) Doctor Who with food and fun. Location: Billy's house. (rescheduled from June 24) Jul 28, 2007 Star Wars Day at Hollywood Video in Massapequa 4 PM - 8 PM "DB516 Strikes Back" Our second appearance in this location. (DB516 may make a trip before the event to pose for photos with an R2-D2 mailbox 10 minutes from massepequa before the Hollywood video event - 3 PM. Members can be in costume or out of.) Aug 7, 2007 Clive Young presents "Homemade Hollywood" at the Bohemia Library - 7 PM Aug 22, 2007 Clive Young presents "May the fan fiolm be with you" at Haupauge Library - 7 PM Event Planning ---------------- Six Flags (Trying for a Monday) TBD on the message boards. Long Island Ducks Baseball game or other outdoor sporting event We'll discuss this at August meeting. Summer movie outing - TBD on message boards. We will start a message thread to openly discuss different movies to attend thru the summer. DB516's annual Anniversary outing at the Montauk Lighthouse. This may be a BBQ / Picnic meeting. Late September / October, Date TBD -----------Next meeting #57 ------------------------ Sunday August 12, 2007 at Hicksville Broadway Mall 11 AM -- Club Buisness --- --no dues collected - Marketing presskit.
