	Docking Bay 516 Meeting #57 is scheduled for Sunday, August 12, 2007 at the Broadway Mall food court. FYI, our meeting schedule for the whole year is posted on our website. The business part of the meeting will start at 12 noon -- we are starting an hour later than usual. 	Here are the minutes: Docking Bay 516 Meeting # 57 Sunday Aug 12, 2007 start 12:25 am at Broadway Mall Hicksville NY Prior Events Recap ------------------ -- Past Events July 14, 2007 Transformers Cartoon Marathon July 15, 2007 1 PM - 9 PM Who-Tennany Doctor Who viewing party # 2 -- Watched the first series Episodes 11-13 then Series #2 (2006) Episodes 1-4 with food and fun. Location: Billy's house. Jul 28, 2007 Star Wars Day at Hollywood Video in Massapequa 4 PM - 8 PM "DB516 Strikes Back" Our second appearance in this location. A super success again. The first hour was very crowded. (In the future we may bring our appearances down from 4 hours to 2) Aug 7, 2007 Clive Young presented "Homemade Hollywood" at the Bohemia Library - 7 PM Upcoming Events --------------- Aug 19, 2007 1 PM - 9 PM Who-Tennany / Who-Down Doctor Who viewing party # 3 -- Watching the last 8 episodes of Series 2 with food and fun. Location: Billy's house. Aug 22, 2007 Clive Young presents "May the fan film be with you" at Hauppauge Library - 7 PM Aug 23 Kaboom: The History of Special Effects at 7 PM in Hicksville at the Library Aug 23 Six Flags trip ( a few people are going) Aug 25 “The Bobba Q BBQ” hosted by our newest member Patrick. All are invited. Aug 30-Sept 3 Dragon*Con – The con of all cons (7 or 8 of us are attending) Sept. 9, 2007 --DB516's 5th Anniversary outing at the Montauk Lighthouse and meeting #58. Weather permitting. Check message boards for last minute changes. Bring sandwiches, Frisbees, whiffle balls and bats and bring your rock walking shoes. Sept 16, 2007 John Williams concert (some of us may go, the cheapest tickets left are the $85 range) Event Planning ---------------- --Long Island Ducks Baseball game or other outdoor sporting event will be planned for next meeting. --October 13, 2007 (tentative) Star Wars Day at Ronkonkoma Post Office with DB516 11 AM - 3 PM Celebrating the release of the Yoda stamp sheets at the Ronkonkoma Main Branch. -- Summer movie outing - TBD on message boards. Check message thread to openly discuss different movies to attend thru the end of the summer. --January 2008 (date TBD) Hoth BBQ on Long Island at Cantiague park. Bring your Taun Tauns and watch for the Wampa. Are you crazies ready for an outside BBQ in the cold? (freezing weather permitting) “The first Burger is away!” -- April 2008 I-Con 27 -- DB516 has been asked to host the Northeast region Fan Force awards at I-Con. We have accepted and are working out the details. -----------Next meeting #58 ------------------------ Sunday September 9, 2007 at Montauk Point in conjunction with our 5th Anniversary Celebratory journey 1 PM weather permitting Meeting #59 scheduled for 10/14 maybe moved to 10/13 the day of the US post office Star Wars day event. TBD -- Club Buisness --- --no dues collected, - Marketing presskit. No progress. Expecting a new draft of bio. Reminder sent to Dana to bring it next meeting.
