Meeting 69 aka the August meeting is... when?
The default day would be August 10, but I vaguely recall us discussing re-scheduling it to avoid Otakon and JumpCon DC. As I missed last month's meeting and didn't see any meeting minutes posted, I don't know what the final decision was. Could someone enlighten us?

Hmm. Well, I'll be at Otakon then. Sucks to have to miss two meetings in a row. Anyway, someone else ought to post an official announcement, time, location, etc. like we usually do.

Minutes for Meeting # 69:
Start Time: 11:15am
Past Events:
None since the previous meeting.
Upcomming Events:
Saturday 8/16 - Clone Wars movie event at Regal Farmingdale Stadium 10 theater off of route 110 from 1pm - 7pm. Meet at the theater around noon to get in costume and set up the club table.
Saturday 9/20 - Ray Park "Darth Maul" event at Steiner Collectables at the Roosevelt Field mall in Mineola(or is that Garden City?) Rob can provide the details about the actual time of the event.
Events Planning:
Book relese event for Clive's "Homemade Hollywood" - Clive does not have an exact release date for the book but he is probably going to be doing a book signing somewhere nearby when it's released. He will keep us updated.
Club aniversary trip - Earlier in the summer we decided that our club trip to the Montauk Point light house would not be happening due to the high gas prices. So far we have not chosen an alternate destination. We decided to try to discuss this online before the next meeting since the September meeting is club aniversary.
Convetions:
8/29 - 9/01 Dragon*Con in Altlanta Georgia - Most of us are attending. There was also much laughter when somebody noticed that I had misspelled "Dragon*Con" as "Dagon*Con".
10/25 Chiller Con in Parsiphony New Jersey - Chris and Lenny plan to attend.
Club Buisness:
Marketing Document - Little work has gotten done on it since my job, club events, and planning my trip to Dragon*Con have kept me from giving it the attention it deserves. Once both the Clone Wars event and Dragon*Con are behind us I should be able to give it more attention and hopefully finish it. We should try to get an endorcement or a letter of recomendation from the movie theater after the Clone Wars event to include in the Marketing Kit.
Future Meeting Dates and Locations:
Meeting # 70 - Sunday 9/14 Time and location to be determined after discussion of where to go for the club aniversary trip.
Meeting # 71 - Sunday 10/12 11 am. Broadway Mall Food Court in Hicksville.
