Star Wars Day at Hollywood Video

Wednesday November 27th 2002 is Star Wars Day at Hollywood Video in Huntington Station. From 7pm to 9pm costumed members of the Empire City Garison and Docking Bay 516 will be on hand to celebrate the VHS/DVD release of Attack of the Clones. All are welcome to come by. If you're planning to come in costume, please post a reply on this thread with the character you're planning re-create.
The store location is: 1800a New York Ave in Huntington Station. a mile and a half north of Jerrico turnpike on the right side. Take rt. 110 north till it merges with NY ave. The store is one mile up on the right, next to Aid Auto. The phone# (631) 423-0903. If you're planning to come by train, the store is 3 miles south of the Huntington LIRR station. i'm flying home tuesday afternoon for thanksgiving, so i'm out. not that a sleeveless gown is particularly conducive to anything involving november. or to consuming anything that's not water.

BWAHAHAHAHA! That's just where I live! I know where Hollywood video is! It's so close to my house, I could probably walk there. I'll be there as young Obiwan (I was at the NYC Halloween parade also).
What are the costumed people going to do there? Just stand around looking good? Was the store looking for costumed people?

Hey guys,
I talked with my boss yesterday about switching to an earlier shift on the 27th. I'll be working the 7:30am to 3:30pm shift, so I will be able to make it.
I do have a question though. Since I'll be carrying A LOT of gear (this BF costume has a lot of pieces) is there anyway I can get a ride back to the bronx after the event and party? I'm like the 2nd exit on the other side of the Throggs Neck bridge, and I live 2 blocks off the highway so it wouldn't be alot of driving. Also, I'd cover any gas and tolls needed.
Anyway, PM me and let me know.
