Lucasarts is developing a game for the Wii that is nothing but lightsaber duels. If you go to Clonewarsgame.com, there is 1 screenshot so far. Here is a description from the website about the game:

Built from the ground-up for Wii™, Lightsaber Duels features an intuitive motion-controlled combat system that puts the Lightsaber™ weapon in your hand. Mastering the Jedi's distinctive weapon is now within any player's grasp.
-Fight the most memorable duels from The Clone Wars feature film and TV series.
-Wield your Wii Remote like a Lightsaber and experience first-hand the unique weapon of the Jedi knights with intuitive controls, so no matter what your gaming experience you can become a Lightsaber master.
-Play with your friends as your favorite Clone Wars hero or villain - from familiar characters like Anakin Skywalker and General Grievous to new faces like Ahsoka Tano and Asajj Ventress - each with a unique fighting style and set of skills.
-Exploit your interactive surroundings to defeat your opponent: slice down pillars and Force throw them against your foe.
-Duel your way through significant Clone Wars locations, such as Tatooine and Teth.
Unfortunately it is only for the Wii so those with other next-gen systems will have to do without this one. (for now at least).

I was in Sam's Club today and they had Wii "Glo-swords". The Wii-mote fits into a white lightsaber sized tube with a blade (only about a foot long so you don't knock over stuff in your house I guess) that will light up (no sound--I guess that's provided by the game). It was $42 for a two-pack...one red and one blue. Probably the best thing available until Lucas licenses an official one or if you're crafty you make one yourself. Yes, I bought it...

I saw the glow sword today at Target. It was not a two pack though. They were selling for $29.99 for an individual one. It said on the back that the color of the blade comes in red, blue, green......and I cannot remember the rest of the colors though. Course...how many of us will be clashing the swords together in mock play instead of playing on the Wii...:)
