It has just been confirmed that Del Ray will be releasing a 5-book series on the Clone Wars involving the newly expanded time-line with the new characters, settings, etc. from the 3D animated series. Karen Traviss (Star Wars Republic Commando series and Legacy of the Force series will do 3 of them including the Clone Wars novelization to start it off, and then Karen Miller (Hammer of God, and Stargate SG-1: Alliances and Do No Harm) will write the other two. They are working together on all of them. The books will be released like this:
#1 Traviss (The Clone Wars hardcover novelization - July 26)
#2 Miller (December 2008)
#3 Traviss
#4 Miller
#5 Traviss

Boy, it seems Karen Traviss is their current golden child. Can't say I disagree. She writes well and it seems she can really churn them out.

The title of Karen Miller's first Clone Wars book has been released. It is entitled "The Clone Wars: Wild Space". It is the second book in the Clone Wars series between her and Karen Traviss and is set to hit stores on November 25, 2008 instead of the December release date as stated previously.
