This is an interesting question for me, as this has always been a subject of interest for me. I think this very aspect of the Star Wars scenario, has always been the main draw for me. I was in my early 20's when "New Hope" showed up on the big screen, and since I already had great interest at the time in paranormal activity, the story line hooked me immediately. The romance of it was incredible and for me... irresistible. >;~)
Although I'm sure there is a trick to this toy, I'm at the same time, certain that living energies possess a "force" of sorts that can be used. That is providing one learns how to use it.
I have seen where our own government among others, have spent millions of dollars on this very kind of research, along with other human abilities of this nature.
I and my husband have experienced some paranormal happenings ourselves, of which I will refrain from going in to here, it might be off topic some what, but it was more than enough to convince me that there is more to this corporal matter than meets the eye. To quote Yoda from "The Empire Strikes Back"....., "Luminous beings are we, not this crude matter".
I'm almost positive that achieving our.... (smiles).... "force" potentials are not too different than learning to do expected things like walking and talking. We have the capabilities of both those things when we are born, however we must develop them by trial and error, emotional and mental development, and progress threw physical strength.
Since we are within a physical realm of existence here, and within a physical body at present, we are of coarse immediately and vastly motivated by our physical environment, to develop our physical talents.
Further, we have hands and feet and a voice box, therefore we are not so inclined to nurture ourselves nor others to reach out with our with any other abilities we may possess.
Why go inside to do your banking, or to order your Wopper, when you can sit in the drive threw, within the comfort of your car?
Anyway, that's my take on it. LOL!! But to answer your question Master Mika, I'd be willing to bet that this is just a toy. Can it train you to reach out with your mind? It would be interesting to check it out. But then again, this wouldn't be the first time my curious nature got me landed in trouble. Enter the Sith in me. LOL!!!!
