Paducah Fan Films
I mentioned at the meeting this week that I spent some time with the Paducah Imperials last weekend in Metropolis. Their latest fan film should be finished soon. They've been working on it a little over a year and it should be their longest yet, clocking in around 40-50 minutes with an "extended version" to be released later. They tell me that the cameo the wife and I did last year (non speaking role) is still in there. Their hope is to have the world premiere at Cape Girardeau Comic Con April 25-26.

Paducah Fan Films
As I mentioned I got to see the Paducah Imperials' Fan Feature Film (it IS feature length now) "Fanboy" while in Metropolis for Superman Celebration. This weekend they had their first "big" showing at a real theater in Paducah. It was pretty exciting for the wife and I to see ourselves on the big screen even if it was only a short cameo. It was a long drive and we were beat when we got home but it was worth it. Here's an article on the event...

I even got to learn the joke about ice cream maker guy.
DVD's should go on sale in about a month or so. I'm looking forward to showing it to you all.

How awesome! Being able to contribute to a good cause, while doing something that you absolutely love is one of those spices of life! Fanboys to the rescue!!! Now "thats" what I'm talken bout! Looks like you all had a wonderful time there, and Appo and I can't wait till we can see the movie. We'll happily purchase one of them too.
