	For those who haven't read the series yet.... the next paragraph/statements are safe to read. To Quote Master Yoda... "Hard the future is to see". To quote Mandoan... "SHABS! OSSYK! FEERFIK! This is one of those times when you are left actually afraid to see what's going to happen next. But its also one of those situations where the heart stoppers, the morbidness, and down right human condition won't let go of you. I've got anxiety about the next book, but I can't look away!!! LOL!!! Oh Cungr, you simply must get on with the reads, I'll be exploding with anticipation until I can share the feelings that were invoked within me from this series. And to think at one time, I shunned the books and comics, because I thought all they did was to water down the impact of the movies. I didn't have a clue, not a clue. Closed minds are a terrible thing! I am so very, very glad that I re-entered the continued saga of the Star Wars phenomena threw the books. Wow, I've been wowed by it all. 	I just found the book club editions on ebay, and have bought them. Each of them are 2 books in 1. Got the 2nd one in today, now waiting on the 1st.

You, "especially you" won't be sorry Master Jedi. And some grave advice, don't read them out of turn. They all play upon the next one in line, VERY MUCH SO. Wait till you get "Republic Commando Hard Contact", then begin reading the series. Man... Karen Travis is one talented lady, and she understands the human heart all too well. She has me wrapped around her characters... hook, line, and well, the whole dang pole! What a writer.... what an incredible story weaving character building individual. My hat is off to her, and there is yet another book to come... OH SHABS! If I have a chance to meet her, I'll be there.... just to simply acknowledge her understanding, talent, and time well spent. I hope she makes a fortune, truly I do. Appo has begun reading the first Bane book, which I found those very entertaining as well, but Ossyk, The Republic Commando series blows everything else out of the water. 	haha thanks... yeah school has been kinda crazy... i was even dumb enough to sign up for summer classes... but it will all be worth it when i get to graduate next spring with school work and raising the little ewok things have been a bit crazy around here. I will try to b at the next weekday meeting but I can't make any promises lol. Well hope all is well with everyone, and I will HAVE to make time to read order 66 lol. And i am happy to see that they finally got an icon of darth zannah up here for... well.... darth zannah lol. congrats!! 	Thanks for the congrats on the new icon. I found it accidentally just a few days ago. I was showing Isulf, "Chris", hes the member who comes to pizza night with us, how to look threw the icons, and just out of curiosity, I typed "Darth Zannah" into the icon search engine, AND THERE SHE WAS, all in her shinning gloriousness!! I immediately went to the icon thread in the main forum, [after adding her iconic distinctive uniqueness to mine of coarse] and thanked those responsible for uploading it. I had placed this request in about six months or so ago, a couple of different times, then forgot about it for a while..... so I'm not sure when it went up, but I was grateful for it. Those who run the boards deserve many kudos for taking care of us. I was a moderator of a quite large yahoo groups list for about 5 years. Believe me, there is a lot of work involved in just doing that.... can't imagine being someone in charge of "these" massive boards!! Wow!! Yes, as Dr. Evil would say,"She completes me". 	I was finally able to finish the last two Republic Commando books. Great writing! Love the ending as well. Suspenseful, surprising, and definitely pulled on the heart strings. Karen Traviss is definitely the top writer in the Star Wars stable right now and I look forward to more of her work. Already counting down to Imperial Commando. Personally, I really enjoyed the fact that several characters from other books made an appearance. Especially the reference to Scout from Dark Rendezvous (spelling?). I see more and more Star Wars books bringing all the varied works closer and closer together and I look forward to more of them. 	Oh my YES! Isn't she positively a WONDERFUL writer! The way she can flesh her characters out is phenomenal.... you get to know them intimately, and I felt as if they were my friends, I developed a closeness to them, which is what a writer should strive for. She does this without going over board, and in increments, so that you don't burn out on the character building process. Once again, a most intelligent and talented lady. And just like you, she is for me, and by far, my most favorite-est Star Wars author... at least up into to this point. Someone else might get it as right as she has, but to best her would be turn out to be a very hard act to follow. Her talent obviously comes from a strong ability to put herself into the picture,,,, to identify with her characters on a deep level. I do the same thing when I'm reading or watching a movie,,,, I can place myself into a situation very easily, a strong sense of compassion. Its nothing to see me get totally wrapped up in a character that I identify with. I've even been known to cry when a friend gets hurt or dies. To write like she does, tells me she is a feeling person. No one without a sense of deep understanding of the human condition can pull that out of their bums. That's why I like her so much... because within her style, she gives her inner self away, lets people get to know how she thinks and feels, as any writer does. The more they have the ability to touch you, the more it shows me their inner self. I've seen some life myself, and not all of it pleasant. I think any of can say that really. I read a small bio on her, which explained that she used to be (possibly still is?) a journalist. She apparently worked for a news agency at one point, so she understands the human condition well. I'm sure she has seen a lot, and had some experiences of her own, and being who she obviously is, some of which have touched her deeply. For reasons that I won't go into, (because it would give away a lot of the last book to those whom haven't read this series yet), I would guess, that like me, she has/had a wonderful Father. (THE RIGHT STUFF) She knows what that's all about. I would love to meet her, but I'm doubtful that she would take a trip to the states to do a tour.... but maybe is she knows she has a fan who loves her as much as I do, she'll come on over. Yea, in my dreams. Well yummy Cunger!!! You have read them, and a new "Travis" fan has emerged within our ranks!! 	I recently bought the first two books in the series and was pleasantly supprissed by the amount of characterization in what could have been an by the numbers action novel. I plan on reading the next in the series but I purchased several Star Wars paperbacks (among others) at a library book sale last weekend. I will be trying to figure out what I got and making my way through them first:).
