happy Don't give up hope, DarthZannah! happy She actually came to Indianapolis about two years ago and did a book signing there for one of the Legacy of the Force books, and I'm pretty sure she did a book tour for The Clone Wars book last year as well. Hopefully, she'll be returning again soon! praying

OK I am almost done with this one (finally lol) and I noticed something; For anyone who has played the Republic Commando video game, they will have noticed how Karen Traviss linked the book to the game. I don't want to give anything away, so if you want to know how just PM me. Ms. Traviss is BRILLIANT!!!

Okay, Zannah I need your help.

I put 66 down, and haven't picked it back up since I read the back cover to "Imperial Comanndo." NOTE: DO NOT READ THE BACK COVER OF IMP COMANNDO UNTILL AFTER YOU FINSIH THE RC BOOKS

Frack. The back of the new book gives away some MAJOR plot points, and I fear it may have ruined "Order 66" for me. Zannah, I need a little Sith prodding to get me to finish the book.

On a side note, Fi is the best example of what a Tramatic Brain Injury is like I have read in fiction ever. Period. How did Traviss turn a side bar charictor used just for "color" into such a complex and 3D figure in just 3 books in beyond me. Yes, she is very talented.

But, how can I finish the book when I now know the ending? Stupid spoilers.

I feel your pain Jammies! I did the same thing and it frustrated me.

But, do continue reading Order 66. It is worth it! Besides, you may have gotten some spoilers...but that is not how the book ends wink

Hi Jammies, Cunger is right, it doesn't matter if you know the ending.... ITS THAT GOOD!!! You won't believe all the things which happen, oh my, my, my!!! Shabs!!! READ IT! Trust me,
I am loving me some Travis characters.... and again, trust me Jammies, read it. Its impossible for something as paltry in this instance, as knowing the ending to ruin the rest of the read. I can not stress that enough. batting

For you, Zannah, I shall pick the book back up tonight.

Still, I hate spoilers. The Star Wars Insider spoiled Vector Prime before it came out, and who didn't hate the Episode One soundtrack's "the death of Qui Gon." Stupid Sony Music.

I just finished this book myself about a week ago and all I can say is EPIC!!! It is a definite read even if uve had parts of it ruined. There are parts in the book that are amazing that are not given away in any spoiler that I have found. By all means read this one all the way through.

Thanks all, I did finish it last night.

Stang. The one spoiler aside, it was a great book, not just a good Star Wars book. While, in her earlier works, I really took issue with the "just a million clones" and the "the sep threat is over rated" parts of her take on Star Wars canon, I loved how she weaved so much other EU stuff into these books. Even the West End Games Imperial Sourcebook (everything you could ever want to know about the Empire, a must read for Imp techies out there), Battlefront 2, and that Eye of Palpatine book that was so bad I forgot it the minute I read it. Good job Ms. T!

I don't want to post more, for fear of spoiling the books for anyone. I hope we will see more of these folks as she writes more books. I just love Fi, and have really never read a better point of view discription of TBI outside of one of my textbooks. And in a Star Wars book no less! Pretty heave stuff.

So, whats next on the to read pile? I plan on holding of till 2011 to read the new Post-Leagacy books (I hate waiting for the next installment), but I also have zero willpower.

What are you all reading? Say....

Do we have a book club?

Another REPUBLIC COMMANDO veteran! dancing Yea, I love Fi too, and Darman, and well, ALL OF THEM! I just love the Clone Troopers to pieces! If anyone has a right to get angry about anything, its those guys...... I wouldn't blame them if they turned on the whole Feerficken galaxy, ousted both factions, and created a Republic of their own! And with the life experiences these guys have led, I believe they'd be awesome leaders. To heck with the Old Republic, The New Republic, "and" the Empire! I say bring in the....... CLONE REPUBLIC! love

I like Darman myself of the Omega Squad but my favorite HAS to be the Null ARC Ordo. The way he dealt with the person following Besany ( I'm not giving away anything here lol) was pure gold. I love the ARCs anyways but Ordo has to be my fav.
