Well, we gotta plan ahead folks. Some more time to mull it over, but please let your voice be heard.
"I love democrocy..."
(but not spelling aparently)
APRIL
Crosscurrent: The new paperback comes out in January, staring Jaden Korr of video game fan. The book is set right after the 2nd Galactic Civil War and somehow deals with the sith, and some other stuff. I’m super excited about it, but not sure why.
Clone Wars No Prisoners is by Karen Travis, and includes a younger Pellaeon: it may spark a good conversation about the clone wars era in general.
Star Wars X Wing: Starfighters of Adumar. Now, the best, to me, series of books is the X-wing books. However, there are over 7 of them. This one, is a stand alone, and one of the most humor-filled books of any genre.
Darth Bane and Jedi V. Sith both cover the Battle of Rusaan but in different mediums and from different points of view: so read one or both and discuss! (what is a better format for telling Star Wars tales, books or comics?) A repeat, I know, but I still like this idea.
Shatterpoint: Apocalypse Clone. Mace Windu vs. an entire planet. One of the best of the Clone Wars novels.

I thought I was a SW fan until I read that and had no idea what it meant.

I am really having a hard time deciding this time... for both polls. Stang it, Jammies! Too many good choices!
For this one I'm gonna have to go with
Crosscurrent
, just because I have been anticipating this book since I first heard about it, and plus, I really want to know what's been going on with my girl (now turned boy), Jaden, since the video game.
Still got to put some more thought into February poll though.

"No, General. I'm not your subordinate. And what I'm coming dangerously close to is violence."

Yeah, too many good choices. I've heard good things about Shatterpoint but I guess I'll vote Crosscurrent since I played the video game as well.

In April, we will read about Jaden Kerr (who should have been a girl), the male jedi padawan from the Dark Forces/Jedi Knight games as he does some stuff that sounds really cool, after the events of the Leagacy of the Force books, but those events are not really mentioned. Some sith will show up, and I hear the book will have pages with words on them-- all about Star Wars!
