No, no. A repack of the truck that came out when this new line was released back in May. We're not even two months into this thing and already, they're repacking stuff. Unbelievable.

Another repack that is forthcoming is the Arab Thug two pack. Basically it is a deluxe pack that contains two of the Arab thugs using the same mold as the one with the Marion and Arab Thug two pack, but with different paint schemes.

On a side note, I checked my bank account today and Hasbro has finally drawn the $5.99 check for the crystal skeleton figure. I guess it won't be long now....

Aren't repacks sometimes unavoidable in a toy line based on popular movies? In the SW line, they had to repack the Slave I and the Republic Gunship, mostly because they're seen in the movies with different paint jobs at different points.

Well, I'm going to make my rounds tomorrow and hopefully I'll come across the new wave. I'm not holding my breath, though, considering how full the pegs were last time I was there. Maybe it'll benefit me to check out Target or Toys R' Us as well.

As for my mail-away figure, I have everything all set and it goes out in the mail tomorrow. I can't wait!

I think that between higher fuel prices, higher food prices and the general state of the economy, many collectors may be dissuaded from getting the figures at this point in time; it's almost a shame after waiting so many years for a complete line of IJ action figures. sad

Hey my apologies if I am missing the info somewhere in this thread but when does the third wave of the figures come out?

They should be out now. Several people have been able to pick them up already.

Yeah neither my Walmart or Target has wave 3 yet and the peghooks are nearly empty at both stores.....maybe they were street dated for July 17th on the box but since they have the same upc code, some stores have put them out and have been able to sell them without getting locked up at the register.

By the way, has anyone noticed the "left behind" figures that are consistently remaining on peghooks at all locations? For me, these figures have been:

Arab Swordsman
Sallah
German Soldier
Rene Belloq

I hope they do something. I really want to get a hold of those new figures, but all my stores are still stock full of the previous stuff. It may be a long time till I see the LC wave. Or, worse yet, not see them at all. That happened with several Star Wars waves in the past.

With the surging gas prices, I'm not sure that it might not be a better deal to order online, even if you pay the shipping. It's still cheaper than driving regularly over to Target/Toys 'R Us/ Wally World, for some folks at least.
