1 Raiders
2 Crusade
3= Temple / Skull
KOCS is a worthy addition to the Indy legacy, at least as good as Temple of Doom, and not too far behind Crusade.

Hm, well I watched ToD tonight, and I think actually it and Skull might be tied for third. Skull has some more resonant moments for me and getting to see a mature Indy, but as a film I feel ToD flows a little bit better. It just rolls from one thing to the next but has enough time for talking in between, too. For some reason Skull feels a little oddly paced. So good and bad both.

1. Last Crusade
2. Raiders
3. Temple
4. Kingdom
I'll have to watch Temple again, haven't seen it in a while, but as far as I can remember it better than Kingdom (don't even get me started on it).

I find each of the four INDIANA JONES movies to be incredibly entertaining and incredibly well made.
George Lucas, Steven Spielberg, Harrison Ford, John Williams and INDUSTRIAL LIGHT & MAGIC and everyone else involved in the creation of these movies have combined to create something truly amazing.
The heart and the imagination in these movies are so strong and so evident.
And Indiana Jones is a memorable and loveable hero unlike any other and no one, but Harrison Ford could play Indiana Jones.
I absolutely enjoy these movies, fully and equally. I give them each 4 stars out of 4 stars and 10 out of 10. They are truly special.

1. Raiders
2. Temple
3. Crusade
4. Skull
I agree with the posters above that each film goes down a notch (or two or three) with each successive film with Raiders being the clear pinnacle of quality out of the bunch.
Skull, after (admittedly) only one viewing, is very definitely at the bottom of the barrel.

1. Raiders
2. Temple of Doom
3. Last Crusade
4. Skull.
Honestly, Skull shouldn't even be mentioned in the same sentence. I thought it was atrocious beyond words. Spielberg's worst film since The Lost World. An absolute, utter mess. I walked out with about 10 minutes to go.

1) "Raiders" and "Temple" (they're perfectly complimentary and are equal for me)
2) "Skull" (the second-half stank, but the first half was far better than "Crusade")
3) "Crusade" (lacklustre throughout the whole film and kind of lost its 30's serial feeling)

Last Crusade was the # 1 movie on Planet Earth for 1989.
It grossed far more than either Raiders or TOD. Batman was # 1 in the USA, but IJLC was # 1 worldwide. Great film.
LAST CRUSADE
RAIDERS
CRYSTAL SKULL
TEMPLE OF DOOM

I thought summer of 1989 was pretty good for moviegoers. With the possible exception of Ghostbusters 2.

Temple gets so much hate and I never really understood that. Sure, it's no Raiders, but it's 1000 times more fun than Last Crusade, has a better score, and better jokes.
It also has my favorite Jones moment ever:

That part is hilarious, my favorite moment of the enitre film.
Temple of Doom is good, especially the last thirty minutes. That last thirty minutes has some of the best action of any of the Indy films.
