he is almost NY a lil too far for the Rhode Squadron. Plus the RS haven't met in months. Hell they don't even post on their boards. I think I have more posts on their boards than the people that actually live there. lol

I could almost be considered RS, too, due to my proximity to Rhode Island (I live about halfway between Boston and the RI border), but there's been nothing to talk about over there.

Alright gentlemen, here's the deal.
If the interest is still there to have a pre-holiday get-together at my place on the 10th I need to know ASAP. My wife wants to have a couple of old friends over for dinner before the holiday, but the only date our friends are available is...yup, the 10th.
So what I need is a definite head count. If the interest isn't there, then my wife gets her dinner party. Jorge and Richie have already chimed in, so anyone else who wants in I need a yea or nay by the end of the weekend if possible.

Fantastic! Looks like a solid turnout indeed! Anyone have thoughts on what we shoudl do for eats? Is everyone fine with the 'Pot Luck, everyone brings something' idea or is there another thought out there? Post you opinions.

so who is bringing what to this lil party we are having? I will more than likely bring the wings for an ap. Not sure what main or side dish to bring along. It is getting down to the wire so let's hear what is going on out there.

Agreed.
I plan on having a lasagne out as the 'main dish' along with probably a garden salad. If there's anyone out there who is not a friend of meat, please let me know asap and I can probably have a non-meat lasagne as well. I'll also have a dessert/snack of some kind as well. Maybe a cake or pie?

I have to go to work tonight so I won't be home until late tomorrow, so if there is something we can all decide etc. let me know I will bring along whatever you guys are hungry for.

Well this is what the 'menu' looks like as of now:
- Drinks
- Snacks
- Salad
- Wings
- Lasagne
- Cake/Pie
I'll also have a limited selection of 'adult beverages' 
Everybody can bring whatever they want. Want to pring a side dish or even a pizza? Go right ahead. All contributions will be warmly accepted (and eaten).
