the meet is supposed to be next weekend, but we have yet to finalize a day Sat/Sun or a place. I will probably be more open to Sun, because I think I am working next Sat. The place doesn't really matter to me. We just need to make a decision soon so we can get a head count. I would say by Wednesday at the latest or we wait til next month for a meet.

Hi, just wondering if we'd be able to nail down a day, time and place for next weekend by Tuesday or so? I just need to be able to make arrangements with work because I'm on call 24/7 and like to give as much notice as possible when I'm not available to respond, especially since I have a day off Saturday for a wedding.
Very excited to meet everyone in person, if not this time, the next.

I can possibly make next Sunday.
Saturday I have an doctor's appointment in the afternoon.
Not sure what is exactly going on with me yet alot still trying to get worked out personally.

Like I said before, I'm unfortunately out for this month. I'll be on vacation with the family. If anyone thinks of it, bring your camera along and snap a couple of pics. We can forward them along to Matt to put up on the new M.I.S. website.

Let's have the meet on Sunday since that seems to be the day most people can make it without problems. Location is a toss up for me between Pinz in Milford and Jillian's in Boston. Both places are all ages friendly in the afternoons. I know Jillian's has good food not sure about Pinz since Chris, Jim, and I ate else where when we met up there last summer. Jillian's has pool tables and games, Pinz has bowling, games, etc. I am kinda leaning towards Pinz right now because of the bowling (10 pin). Plus it is equal distant for any one coming from Boston.

We'll see if I can make it this coming Sunday, and I'd definitely be up for Pinz if I can...Jim may have to give me something like 80 pins handicap, but I'd love to be able to test my skills against him. I should have my new bowling shoes tomorrow, anyway, and may have extra practice under my belt, as my brother & I may be bowling Saturday.
BTW, I have a blog up at http://10thboard.wordpress.com that I'll be using to journalize my progress in returning to league bowling. Half the reason I wanted Wormie and Jorge on my personal MySpace, so I could announce the blog in a MySpace bulletin instead of doing it here.

Interesting, Mike, though I wish you linked the pages where the balls are sold instead of just the images. Anyway, I'm on a pretty tight equipment budget, so my old ball will have to do for now. I found a deal on the shoes online (as I noted in my blog) and my old shoes didn't fit me, so the shoes had to come first. 
As an update, my friend Ed freed himself for the day, so count on two more @ Pinz next Sunday.

Ritchie, the balls were originally offered by I believe AMC. They were part of 'SW Bowling Leagues' they established at their bowling centers around the release of ROTS. I'm not sure if they can still be bought at retail though. These pics came from Ebay. There were also Maul & R2 balls as well.

Hi folks,
It's been a fun time but I can not commit any time to things here anymore or well what time I did anyway. Good luck and and I wish you all a fun time and remember 'fun' haha
I may post from time to time but I just don't have the time to show up at meets anymore.
