At least Kendrick Perkins has gone from being "doubtful" w/ that shoulder to being a game-time decision. Something tells me "The Ticket" is going to have a monster game (something on the order of 20 pts., 15 rebounds) tonight.

It is very possible that we saw the last pitch of Curt Schilling's major league career in last year's World Series, as he said on WEEI's "Dennis and Callahan" yesterday that he will undergo season-ending surgery on his right shoulder Monday, and a return after the All-Star break next year would depend on how he rehabs from it.

Word has it that if the Red Sox had okay'd the surgery back last November/ December, He might have been able to pitch this year.... But , you cant judge surgery's or even predict them. I wish Schill luck, and hope he is able to pitch one more time for Boston.

You know it's been a strange season so far for the Red Sox when they have trouble playing Tampa Bay (the surprise story of the year so far) but have an easy time with the Yankees (a la Jon Lester's 5-hit shutout last night).
