It is definitely the 15th ... starting sometime around 4 (which means dinner will probably be had between 5 & 6.. LOL).

So, believe it or not, I am already beginning to plan this event out. As you know, I will provide the Ham but, I need to know how many out there are planning to attend so that I can make sure I buy a large enough ham.

Oh, and do we want to do a gift swap of sorts where everyone brings a gift of like, I dunno, a $10 value?

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
I know that we still have Thanksgiving to get through in two days but, believe it or not, our holiday get together is just three weeks away...
I am baking a ham with pineapple/cherry glaze and making home made fudge.
We are going to need the fixings to go with the ham:
Potatoes
Vegies
Beverages
Dessert
etc.
Please let me know what you will be bringing.
Also... do we want to do a gift swap or something? I am thinking a max of $10 for the gifts.
Let me know your thoughts and if you will be able to make it!

If I came, I wouldn't be able to eat very much. I'm Jewish and I keep kosher, so I can't eat any of the ham...

I'll be there. I don't know what I'm bringing yet, I'll try to figure that out soon. I'll probably pick up some kind of dessert. I don't really have the cooking facilities to bring something homemade, sorry!
So I requested to work until 2pm that day, which would give me a half hour to get to South Station and catch the 2:30pm train. That would have me in Framingham at 3:15pm. Unfortunately that's the last stop for that particular train. The next train isn't until 4:30pm, and would put me there an hour after that. Is 3:15pm too early to get picked up by some kind soul with a car? The train back that looks good leaves Southborough at 8:40pm and Framingham at 8:50pm.

So, who all do we have coming? I need a final count as soon as possible so that I can look for the perfect ham! LOL
Seriously, can I have a count please so that we all know how much food we all need to make/bring?
Also, we need a vote on the gift swap - yes or no? Doesn't really matter either way to me... I would be just as happy to just get everyone together for the evening!
Don't forget... padawans/wookiee cubs/apprentices are all welcome!

I'll be there, most likely with my 2 kids.
As for a swap, it makes no difference to me. I would suggest that if we do one, we keep the max. price low. Say in the $10 range.

I'd really love to join in the festivities, sounds like WOV is putting on a wonderful night for everyone. My wife is due with our first child December 7th, so I'll have to bow out this year. I don't think she's going to make it to the 7th, she looks ready to explode any second (more like the first Death Star in the Special Edition than the second). Had to get my geekness in before the year ended.

I'm all for the gift exchange. I'll pick something up this Saturday, since it may be my only opportunity to do so. And just in case we don't do it, I'll make sure it's something I wouldn't mind keeping.
