The pwnage of Jacen is hands-down the best part of the book. Darth Wannabe knows he's a dead man walking.

F..T...W, Nicki!!!! F.T.W!!!!
I'm slowly getting through this book, and I want to finish it because it's just plain annoying the crap out of me. How much rehash can one stand?
Oh, and you know how I've accused Del Rey of turning SW into "Dallas"? Well, didn't Bobby Ewing "die" in a car explosion?
Hello? Luke Skywalker... X-Wing... Boom! Come on!!!!!
Oh, and what they did to Tionne? Hello? Total ripoff of RoboCop!!! If they spinoff a "RoboJedi" series off of this, I wouldn't be at all surprised!
Lord save us from bad SW profic!!!

They could just print some of Trace's stuff....
Of course, it would be for sale in an "adult" store...

Don't mind at all, Trace. I was a bit agitated after reading that book.

Legacy # 16 hit the shelves today and I got the next-to-the-last copy at Comic Cellar. I foresee long and heated debates about Obi-Wan's role in Hett's past.
*checks Lit thread*
Yep.
I'll be somewhere else...talking about Cade and his mom, lol.

Well, I don't have strong feelings about it one way or the other, but there are some Obi-Wan fans spinning about it.

Basically, Hett survived Order 66 and went back to Tatooine to become a tribe leader with the Tuskens. The Tuskens are doing their Tusken thing - killing people to take back their land - and their next target is a certain moisture farm we all know well. Obi-Wan shows up to defend the inhabitants of said moisture farm and ends up fighting Hett. He cuts Hett's arm off and makes him vow to leave Tatooine and never come back. So, decades later, Hett finds out that Obi-Wan had been protecting the son of Anakin Skywalker and he has a big 'ol chip on his shoulder against Obi-Wan and the Jedi for disgracing him and making him an outcast among his people.
The debates are pretty much about whether or not Obi-Wan should have left Hett maimed and disgraced or killed him when he had the chance.

I saw that. Looks good. As long as they include Vader.
And the Obi-Wan stuff... meh.
Not even worth getting worked up over.

Unless you're a rabid Obi-Wan fan...
What's his kriffing deal about cutting peoples limbs off...don't they have a therapy group for that???
And it's not like there are any rabid Obi fans out there...
And the new Comic looks to have the posibility to be pretty cool...
Did it say who's writing it?

Yeah, I think maybe OW fans may be getting worked up and defensive about Legacy. But anyone who knows me knows I'm not a rabid Obi-Wan fan. So I can see where this might would have happened in the GFFA, especially after reading other stuff about OW. I've had to read more tripe about Vader that is so out of character between Fan Fic and profic I'm very choosy these days. People I DON'T read writing Vader - Denning, Alston, Zahn, and just about every other author out there...
But I do loves me some Traviss, Wyndham, Perry, Stover and Luceno when it comes to writing him, because they GET him.

John Jackson Miller and John Ostrander, baybee!!
I seriously did not get the bickering about Obi-Wan, but you know how some of our fellow forum-goers are. They will argue about the color of the SKY.
