 I thought you guys might want to get on the list of hosts?!? 
The Santa Cruz, CA FanForce is planning a world tour for their broken interactive Yoda. You can read the thread here if you like: http://boards.theforce.net/Santa_Cruz,_CA/b10693/20317084/p1. The basic story is this (as told by the CR of the Santa Cruz FanForce):
I was watching Velvet Goldmine and a "certain performance involving a lot of painful looking jumping up and down and a jar of glitter" came on screen. I had Yoda facing the TV and apparently the vision of the Young Jedi before him in all of his Jedi Glory was too much. Yoda let out a blood curdling scream..his eyes widened, his mouth opened and he froze in that position. And has stayed frozen. The company that manufactured him couldn't fix him and offered to replace him with a Furby..um..no thanks. So except for one trip to Disneyland just to have fun with him. (He went ALL over the park with me and took lots of pics with various characters and various places)...he has been sitting on a shelf..still with that horrified expression on his face. Now for the plan. I remember a year or so ago that there was a Vader that was sent all over the world to different fan clubs. I'm not sure how it worked, but decided that instead of spending his twilight years in catatonic shock, perhaps our little green friend would like to get out and about? How about it? Can we start the same thing with him.

You better keep that thing well hidden next weekend. You-know-who has issues with me buying that native doll from "Three Tales of Terror" ("If it ever comes in the house, I'm leaving!" she's said),
Sounds like something someone's wife has said about a certain killer klown...
I'm game if it can come to our location that we take a pic with it. What say the rest of the gang?

I think the catatonic shock expression would fit in perfectly on Beale Street at 1am.  Then the AGR can take him to the Clinton Library...

Hi guys! I'm Rachel from the San Diego and Inland Empire fanforces of California. I'm helping Master--Kenobi of Santa Cruz plan this trip. 
If you guys want to participate, Welcome!! Please just post over in the link provided at the top that you guys are interested before July 8th, and you'll be added to the tour.
We're really eager to send this little guy on his way. The tour will begin at the end of this month/beginning of next month, where Yoda's first stop is London, England! He'll also be taking in the sights of Wales, France, Germany, Singapore, maybe Japan, Australia, Hawaii, the rest of the US, and up into Canada.

Awesome to have you guys aboard.
I'm going to need a contact person for the group. This will be the person whom Yoda will be mailed to, who will be responsible for Yoda, and who will ensure that the little tyke gets mailed off to the next fanforce (and send the shipping number to either myself or Master--Kenobi so we can keep track of him!)
If possible, I need the contact person to PM me by FRIDAY JULY 8 with their name, address, email address, and home phone number (phone is a "just in case.")
