I don't have a whole lot to show, unfortunately. A lot of my work has involved digital transfer and restoration of 8 mm and Super 8 film, which is tedious work despite its more personal nature. I've done a few small projects, but nothing that I have handy.

It'd be the JCC. I have some updates, too, in case there were some people who hadn't completely forgetten this thread.
1. Moving the 1st of January.
2. Moving to St. Haven or something like that, in Missisippi, for a few months before moving into a house. Nowhere to go with our pets until we can get an apartment, except for this one place in Mississippi, so that's the plan.
If anyone is aware off-hand of potential work for a young, talented graphics artist/balloon twister, those are my two areas of income-worthy expertise. I did balloons in restaurants around Indy for three years now, actually, so that's where I have more professional experience...and graphics I have yet to do as anything other than a freelance artist. I'm very adept at Photoshop and Illustrator, though, and also After Effects.
I'd pretty much love you forever if you had ideas on that last little note, btw.
Anyway. I'll keep an eye on this forum from now on and try to get sort of involved with this particular group, see if you guys seem cool enough.  Any happenings in the future that would be interesting for a n00b?

Southaven? That is right in my neck of the woods. PM me when you get here. As for looking for a job, I'm not sure right now. I know that quite a few new restaurants just opened in the area so you might check them for balloon twister positions. As for other jobs, I'll keep my ears and eyes open until then.

Good to know there's a pool of work to land in, though. Ballooning gigs are good.

Most certainly have. Hanging out in Southaven most of the time, driving up to the far end of Collierville and working on house related stuff.
Hideously bored.

Fig, Teague, and all the other names folks have given you lately! Welcome to the area, man. I suppose you saw the Movie Nights thread already. Will you be coming to that? I hope so. Then, you can see the silly crap we've done with puppets and video so far. Anything you care to share with us please feel free--we all can learn from each other in that kind of stuff.
