Guess I'll have to go to FLA for the Star Wars weekends instead. I may have a request for a few toys for those that are going. **waving money**

Hey Guys this is TheStreetHowitzer from Jackson Mississippi- right down the interstate from you. My fan group is The Mandalorians Mississippi Division. All of us are going to CIV and are flying here to Atlanta. If your flights are going thru Atlanta we will be on Delta flight 171 flying out at 10:30 i believe. Let me know if you guys are interested in getting together on the flights. We are flying out of Jackson for $362 total round trip. Do you guys have a regular fan group there?

Hi! None of us have made reservations to C4 yet, but thanks for the head's up.
We're a regular fan group, in that we are an official FanForce and meet on a fairly regular basis. You're welcome to join us at any of our events. We update them regularly here on the boards.

You know...I've never flown through Atlanta without getting hung up..
(of course, I've only flown through there twice...so it might not be a fair assumption...)
Anybody heard about when they're going to start the selling of the badges (which will include the booking of the hotels that are all booked when you check them yourselves but will tell you if you annoy them enough that they are booked for the Star Wars convention...One called it geek fest and I just said...yep, that would be it.)
You would think that somebody would know...but, I'm not sure they know.
Oh well...
All I know is I'm going!

We actually have rooms already. A guy in our group flew in under the radar and snagged 5 rooms 5 or 6 blocks from the convention center. We have 2 more spots availabel for guys and we might have 1 more spot available for women. We have 13 or so people already that are planning on going. we got the rooms for pretty cheap. The price for the week is $240.00 in a group of 4 to a room. We will use air matresses. You guys let me know if you are interested. Just email me.

I am actually heading up to Memphis Sunday (8/6) until next friday for a work convention. do you guys have anything star wars planned next week? if not i will be there by myself and will probably be bored out of my mind when the convention is over and would be up for a movie or just hanging out. it would be cool to broaden my star wars fan knowledge. it sould also be cool if our groups could get together sometime. check out our board under southeast regional discussion, mississippi. if anybody is interested in hanging out or getting together next week, email me, i wont be able to get the email after this afternoon but you can call me on my cell at 601-951-7455. We could do dinner/drinks one night during the week maybe.
Or maybe something Sunday for lunch. Sometimes it's fun to meet for a late breakfast on Sunday and then see a movie or just hang out.

Jay here from Jackson also. Good friend of Chris's. I second the notion that ya'll need to fly out with us and make it one big party 3 miles up. If not, we do need to get the groups together. Maybe a little trivia challange. Maybe meet half ways in Granada Park. Picnic.

I'm originally from Grenada. There are some nice places at the lake for a picnic or get together. I can also point you toward some nice places for less family oriented fare, I was a bartender there.
