Tim, Traci and I talked about this a little last weekend.
What do you guys think about getting a cabin at Shelby Forrest for either the weekend of Sept. 8th, or 15th?
I think you can get two or three bedroom cabins, and with a couple of air mattresses (or any tents if anyone wants to bring them) we could fit everybody in.
We can bring the DVD player, stuff for grilling, SW Trivial pursuit and some outdoor games and do it for Friday and Saturday nights.

September 8th is the SMT's 4th anniversary. We should do something to celebrate, and this sounds cool to me.

Since we have invited our sister FanForces we could go to Natchez Trace. They just redid the cabins there and they are really nice. It is just off I-40 about 30 mins from Jackson. I think they run for about 75.00 a night.

I looked up cabins at Pickwick Also. They have three bedroom cabins/three bath for 375.00 a night. That's much more expensive.

Traci and I have been to Gaston's on the White River in Arkanasas a couple of times. It's really nice, but I'd prefer to go when the weather is cooler. (It's all-you-can-burn firewood with them, which adds ambiance that you just can't beat.)
I don't know how many would be going, so the rate would depend on the number of folks and the kind of cabin we'd want.

With us inviting Nashville, we should probably stay somewhere in the center of that. The three bedroom that I stayed in would hold 6 - 8 people in the bedrooms. And then the living rooms are big. I don't know how many of them are coming or if any of the Chatooine folks are coming. I guess we need to start with a count and just tell the Fan Force's to reserve their own cabin's and go from there, but make sure they are together. I'll talk to the others.
