SMT MySpace Page
In honor of the new year, I'm giving the SMT MySpace page a new look. I hope to have the new layout completed and uploaded this weekend.
If you have a MySpace page and haven't friended the SMT, please do so.
SMT Website
The old SMT website died, and the suspiciousmindtrick.net domain has been purchased by another group.
I believe a small website, in addition to the MySpace page, can be a useful marketing tool for the group. Therefore, I am willing to purchase a new domain, memphisfanforce.net, and a one-year web-hosting plan as a gift to the SMT.
The new website would not, however, contain a message board. I strongly believe that offsite message boards are generally more trouble than they are worth, and why pay for bandwidth when we have access to this board for free?
Thoughts/concerns?

Would a separate site have features that we can't put on MySpace? I'm okay with the idea, but I'd hate for you to spend money when MySpace is free.

I don't know if we necessarily need a website, unless it's something that you want to come up in a Google search or something, as it would just come up as a Myspace page now. I agree wholeheartedly that we don't need another messageboard. I've never seen that work well in my time in the administration here. If we want to curse, we can do it face to face.

If we want or need webhosting, I have the Inked Monkey site for another 2 1/2 years before I have to pay for hosting again. We could do a subdomain there and buy the SuspiciousMindTrick.com domain for cheap to link to it if y'all want a site. plus I now have unlimited bandwidth, so I'm not worried about problems with it interfering with my stuff. I almost bought the domain name a few days ago.
Wait... I forgot to say it correctly...
