The theatrical release of The Clone Wars is rapidly approaching, and I would like the premiere to be our next group event. So, the poll question is: Do you want to go to the midnight premiere of The Clone Wars?
If midnight isn't a good time for everyone, what is everyone's preferred day / time?

If that is midnight Thur/Fri, I will have to go to work Friday morning. If we could go Friday night/Saturday sometime, that would work better for Robert and I. Since we will be missing the trip to Arkasas, we would very much like to see everyone for Premiere.

I vote for a 7pm Saturday or Friday showing or something. I can only do midnight if it's on Friday night, then I may not stay awake for the whole thing!

Yeah, midnight on a work night is a little much for me. It's not like this is a real Star Wars movie, after all.  I'm cool with seeing it Friday night.

After talking to a few folks and the feedback in this thread, it looks like Friday evening (7pm-ish) works for the most people.
I just checked Fandango and Malco's websites for showtimes, and none are available yet. I find that a bit odd since the movie opens next weekend. As soon as showtimes are posted, I'll update this thread.

That's not odd...
That's just Malco.
Remember what a pain they were to deal with back during Episode III? I swear they were the only theater chain in America that didn't voluntarily do anything special for the opening. (It took us and the local TV and radio stations to make them realize it was a big deal.)

Malco has finally posted times for The Clone Wars. Times still aren't available on Fandango. 
We have 2 options -- 7:05 pm at Cordova or 7:20pm at Paradiso. Malco is only showing The Clone Wars on one screen per theater.
I'm ok with either one.

What? You don't want to see it at the Raleigh Springs Mall?
Paradiso will have it in Digital. Cordova doesn't.
I vote for Paradiso. Anyway, the extra 20 minutes will come in handy since it's a work day and I'll have to pick up Traci and Rachel.

Hi everyone my name is Hothiceplanet (Chris) I am in Memphis. I am new to this thread. As of Wed. Morning the 13th Malco does not list a midnight showing for Clone Wars on any of there theatres.
If they don't put on a midnight showing anywhere I will be going to the Paradiso at a noon showing. I might decide to go to the 7:20pm showing also to meet you guys.
I have been thinking alot lately about joining the 501st Legion but I don't have a costume yet. I would love to meet some of the MemphisFanForce folks. I have seen you site before and thought about joining but just haven't done it yet.

Awwwww... You're no fun, Nicki. Just remember all of the fun comments that come out of folks who see movies at Raleigh Springs. Think about what we'll be missing! 
No matter what location we choose, I suggest that everyone get their tickets in advance, especially since each theater will have it on only one screen.

I am pretty POed that they don't have a midnight showing.
I have always been in Memphis. I have been several places mostly for conventions. I have neet quite a few star wars actors over the years. I haven't been to a convention since CII though.
