Hi everyone I am Hothiceplanet2187 (Chris). I am from Memphis, I have been thinking alot lately about joining the 501st Legion, but I do not have a costume. I have seen the Memphisfanforce site and have been wanting to join, but just haven't gotten around to it yet.
I am your normal huge Star Wars geek. I collect alot mostly the action figures. Also gentle giant, bobbleheads, attacktix, very little on the ships.
I have two tatoos. I don't have any kids, but I do have a cat named Luke Skywalker.

Welcome, Chris. Jump on in and enjoy yourself.
You don't need a costume to join the cool kids. We're all about Star Wars, not about tupperware, so you can relax, have fun, and talk GFFA with us without being encased in plastic from head to toe. 
Hope to meet you soon. This month we've got the Clone Wars screening on Friday and our Drive-In Night Tribute to Elvis in a little over a week.

Yep, Nikki just did her first cotuming this past weekend in Little Rock- and did it in style!
A sence of humor does come in handy with this group, though!

See? We do have costumers here. It's just not a requirement for membership.

Sounds great. I appreciate the quick responses.
I just found out that the Ajay theatres are running midnight showing, I will be going around noonish today to check and get tickets for tonight.
I am also planning on coming to the 7:20pm Friday with you guys. I can meet you guys in the parking lot if you want. I plan on wearing either a new clone wars shirt or a blue shirt with the imperial symbol on it.

Welcome Chris.  Don't worry, it's not like you have to be a comedian. These guys just think they are. We always have a good time together, and love welcoming new folks!
I don't costume at all, and am mostly an EU/movie person. I have few toys that are near and dear to my heart (I'm a huge Vader fan), but we have quite a few collectors of SW and comic book stuff in general.

I am a huge Star Wars geek. I do have a myspace.com/hothiceplanet
I have a lot of pics of my collection and my son (cat) Luke Skywalker. I don't have kids of my own yet, so he is mine right now.
I do collect alot. Action figures the most. Don't get much in the ships although I had to get the New Big Millennium Falcon (it is AWESOME!!!!).
Right now I am collecting all of the clone wars figures.
Also bobbleheads
got about 50 gentle giant mini busts, but haven't bought one in awhile.
I also am a huge geek about things shown on TV. I have about 15 VHS tapes full of stuff over the years. Including the "Star Wars Holiday Special". I also have this transferred on to DVD which I can copy for anyone. If anyone wants it.
One of my favorite things is I have VHS and DVD versions of old vintage Star Wars toy commercials.
A couple of years ago I was running my own online business selling Star Wars toys, did well but couldn't afford to keep it running. I hope to get back to that in the future.

You're going to love Sal (darknessX), John (DarthToddy), and our former Fan Force member that now resides in Arkansas, otisdodge (Jacob). All ave pretty extensive collections, I believe. But yours sounds pretty impressive, espeically the toy commercials!

I would love to see the toy commercials.
I'm willing to bet that if we all watched them, we'd suddenly have an urge to go out and buy SW toys. Some Pavlovian responses you don't get over, no matter how long it's been.

Buying Toys has always been an

Young children when it comes to Star wars!
Today we have expendable funds to buy more toys
Over what we had back in the day,
