But if the ConCom drags around, and if you take flasks to this meeting, (which I highly recommend), you'll turn into...

I volunteer to be Soap *Beep* of MSC. I'll walk around with a basket of soaps and hand them to ppl who stink and say "Hey, the bathroom is right down the hall. Do us all a favor and take five minutes to wash your pits. The con isn't going anywhere."
It's at a hotel for pete's sake. It's not like there's an absence of soap or water.
And Joy...can I talk to someone about getting a table for the Order of the Red Glove? Just handing out cards last year got us a slew of new members. Imagine what a table could do!

Oh, I think that's a costume that needs to be made, Grace. All you need is a cape and two supersoakers- one for liquid soap and another for water.

So far the weather is holing out. Hope the meeting is going well. Looking forward to hearing how it went. Heard one of the names that they are looking to get for the comics guest- if they do get them, I won't miss it- and even Dave said he'd like to come to town for it!

It went well! I enjoyed meeting everyone and I'm excited about the new venue and the space that it will provide to do things they've always wanted to do but never had room for at the Holiday Inn.
Nicki will be helping with Fan Tables, I'll be signing up to host SW board games, and Rhonda is going to help us try to coordinate with the MidSouth Garrison and Rebel Legion to maybe do a panel and/or run a Jedi Academy like they do at Disney and Celebration.
We'll keep y'all posted.
And special thanks to Joy for all her awesome help in hooking us up with contacts!
