I'm so depressed. It's a good thing I don't have any Hostess products in the house. I'd OD on King Dons if I had them.
How the hell did we manage to lose that game? How?
Of course, we'd draw a foul if we just thought about doing something. Kansas could've ripped one of our player's head off and used it as the ball and they wouldn't drawn the foul. They could've done a drive-by on the court and not drawn a foul. It's been this way the entire tournament.
I blame the media. They were all against us until today. They jinxed us.

Yet and still.... when you are up by three points, and you have ten seconds to go...in the NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP, you don't allow them to make the three point shot. You foul them!!!!! ARRRRGH.

They actually did try to foul them. One of our guys pushed one of theirs down several seconds before the three was thrown, and the refs didn't call the foul. The officiating of these games was always hopelessly slanted against the Tigers.
Has anyone done any investigating to make sure that Ashley Furniture didn't bribe the refs?

The guy blocking the shooter should have been the one to foul the shooter, though. And they just let him shoot... *sigh*
But the season was good, and the game was still good. I'm sure they feel worse than we'll ever feel about the game. Poor guys.

You're right, Roo. They worked so hard this season. I know they feel really down at this point, but I'm still proud of them. According to everyone else, they weren't supposed to make it this far.

What in the tiger blue milk happened???
OK I watched the entire game and I saw the intentional foul that Memphis had to make before the 3 that sent it to OT and the refs ignored it but come on how do you miss 4 of 5 free throws in the last 2 minutes of a CHAMPIONSHIP game? I know its not an easy thing and I have played in close games like that but then to lose in overtime like they did was unacceptable. The tigers were very lack luster in the extra period and having lost Dorsey at the end of regulation didn't help but that's no excuse. I wonder if any players got some free furniture out of this! LOL!
They did the right thing in fouling before the 3 but it was never called but it could have been worst! They could have fouled the guy shooting the 3 and give him a 4 point play ending it there I just don't get how drained they played in OT.
GO TIGERS!
On a side note I think the mascot should be changed to Tony the Tiger and he can get the players some sugary cereal when they have an overtime game to pep them up on a sugar high next time!
