	Many avid readers of Young Jedi Knights series have long felt that it was destined for Jacen and Tenel Ka to be together. However, developments in the NJO have led some to believe that Jacen and the Jedi scientist, Danni Quee could get together. What do you think? Which one do you think best fits Jacen? 	I think Tenel Ka is definitely getting the short end of the stick as far as relationships go. Authors have spent an entire series of novels building up the relationship between her and Jacen, and then Danni comes in and steals the show! [face_shocked] New editor, new girl! Personally, I really thought that Tenel Ka was perfect for Jacen. Her seriousness offset Jacen's sense of humor perfectly, and really added a great element to the story. Star by Star showed that just because they've gotten older doesn't mean they don't work together, and it was unfortunate that Walter Jon Williams decided not to pick up that part of the story arc. 	I think that they both make good matches for Jacen. However, with Jacen's Jedi philosiphy part of him, he would probably go better in the long run with Tenel Ka. -----signature----- Ironing...makes clothes...flat?

	However, with Jacen's Jedi philosiphy part of him, he would probably go better in the long run with Tenel Ka. Actually, that’s why I think he’d be better off with Danni. Tenal Ka cares more about the here and now, the practical. Danni and Jacen are always both looking over the horizon, wondering what’s on the other side. In the long run, Danni will become a Jedi I think, and he’ll have a sparring partner there. I think that Tenal Ka would eventually get tired of Jacen’s musings, but Danni would be interested even when she didn’t understand, just like Jacen was still interested in the technobabble that Danni and her friend were using in DW. Also, if my suspicions are right about Jacen’s future, if Danni stays with Jacen she’ll have opportunities most scientists can only dream about. -----signature----- Winter is coming, one of these days.

Jacen gives his body to science so Danni can better learn the internal workings of Jedi by performing all sorts of painful experiments on him. 	Personally, when I think of the Danni/Jacen/Tenel Ka situation, I think that we are actually dealing with two Jacens here so to speak. Jacen's character has changed since his days in YJK, when he and Tenel Ka were becoming close. As these changes took place, Jacen began to grow into a character that did not neccaceraly fit into the person that Tenel Ka came to love and Danni fits the person he is becoming it seems. -----signature----- I Vote For Kyp as Chief of State

	They've been pushing Danni/Jacen since VP. I say, based on the fact that Jacen hasn't really talked to Tenel Ka since he returned from Coruscant, that he's pretty much over her. I was pretty disappointed with that as well. I wish that Jacen and Tenel Ka were expounded upon more in DW. What's hard in this situation is that both of them have qualities that would go very well Jacen, and in the end, they pretty much come out even. Jacen's character has changed since his days in YJK, when he and Tenel Ka were becoming close. You are correct, and the harsh reality is that the "old" Jacen will never come back. War is an excellent way to change someone. And this "new" Jacen has more in common with Danni, seeing as they have both experienced Vong imprisonment, than Tenel Ka now.
