	With permission from Admiral_JasterMereel, we're going to try this again. Had Darth Vader survived the Battle of Endor, what would have happened to him? For the purposes of this game, assume that the New Republic has been established and that the Empire is in serious disarray and very weak. As a result, the New Republic has brought a series of war crimes against Darth Vader. This thread will be a trial to determine the fate of Darth Vader/Anakin Skywalker. To streamline the process a little from the last trial, I think we'll only need the following character list: - 1 Judge - 1 Prosecutor - 1 Defense Attorney - 1 Bailiff - 7 Member Jury NOT part of the Witness List and must be a Star Wars character - Witnesses of the Prosecution and Defense (to be determined by them) Characters can be "ghosts" of themselves. There is some leeway here since technically Darth Vader was killed during the Battle of Endor. I'd like to keep this as close to Star Wars canon as possible so we'll basically stick to the movies and make some common sense assumptions in regards to Episode III (the Judge will have the final say in regards to that). Some EU will be allowed, but they really should be major characters and have some relevance in regards to Darth Vader. Feel free to choose more than 1 character. The goal is to have fun here and humor is encouraged, but I'd like to keep it within certain bounds and please make sure that the humor does not interfere with valid evidence or testimony in the trial. If someone is going overboard, I'll PM you to let you know. Please remember to put the name of your character at the top of each post to ensure easy readability!!! Thank you. 	I'm PM'ing the guy who played Anakin last time to see if he's interested again. All we need is Anakin and someone to play Dooku and we can get started. The jury can easily be "filled" as we go as all they have to do is read the thread to get caught up. I guess Mitth can assume the bailiff role as well to ensure a quick "swearing in" of the characters...the only thing we need to know is who that character will be. I ALSO FORGOT TO ADD Admiral Ozzel to my witness list. He will be right before Admiral Piett. Rampani, could you give me some background on your character? 	ALSO, when we're ready to start, I'll list what you can expect from the Judge as well as some "common sense" trial rules to go by. After the Judge begins the trial, the prosecutor will make the opening statement and explain the charges. I'll also list "rules" for the jury as well. 	Nawara Ven was a character in the EU Rogue Sqaudron novels. He was a fighter pilot/ attorney. While a member of the sqaudron, he defended Tycho Celchu when Tycho was on trial for treason. He won that case. Later on, He had to eject from his fighter and lost most of his leg. I can't remember which leg at the moment. He remained with the sqaudron as XO and also negotiated with one of Zsinj's personnel to find out the details of a plan that would have destroyed the NR. He is considered a very succesful lawyer, even to the point that during the reign of the Empire, he was not admitted to court to defend his cases. -----signature----- A weapon for a more civilized age, eh?
