Another take on Jag and Jaina's wedding. To the song I Do (Cherish You) by 98 Degrees or was it Mark Wills.. confused Well they both sing it! This is a unbetaed version so if there are some mistakes I am truly sorry! All feedback is greatly appreciated! happy

Jag Fel snuck down the hallway of the chapel in a desperate search for his soon-to-be wife. Opening doors, peering through windows, he had to find her.

"Jag Fel." he heard a stern voice behind him, he slowly turned to identify it. "What do you think you are doing? Can't you wait another hour? Just sixty more minutes?" the woman chastised.

"Of course I can wait, Mara, but I don't want to." he replied with a smug grin. She laughed.

"Well, you are going to have to," Mara Jade-Skywalker walked over to him, her dress swaying as she did so, linked her arm though his and led him back to the main room of the church. "And just what do you think Han would say if he found you hunting around for his daughter before the wedding?"

Jag just shook his head and tried to think of another way to seek out his bride.

"You look gorgeous," Tenel Ka said, "Jag is truly a lucky man."

Jaina Solo and her maid-of-honor stood admiring her wedding dress. It was made of the finest shimmersilk available. It was smooth and sleeveless with a long train. Her veil was pinned into the elegant bun she wore in her hair. Two strands of hair on both sides framed her heart-shaped face and she looked like an angel.

Jaina turned and looked at Tenel Ka. "Am I ready for this?" This was supposed to be the happiest day of her life yet she found herself wondering if she was prepared enough for this giant leap in life. She turned back to look at herself.

"What does you heart tell you?" Tenel walked closer to the mirror and rested a hand on Jaina's left shoulder. "You and Jag are in love; you belong together."

Jaina smiled into the mirror, "Well then, what are waiting for?"

Tenel smiled back. "I'll go find your father."

A few moments after Tenel Ka left, "She gone?"

"Jag!" Jaina shrieked as she saw his reflection in the mirror. She turned to him and asked, "What are you doing here?" A confused expression on her face.

"What, can't a guy come see his lovely bride?" a mischievous smile on his face. He started walking toward her. "You're breathtaking." his eyes scanned her small frame.

"C'mon, you know you're not suppose to see the bride before the wedding." she walked backward trying to get away from his prowling arms.

"There's no one around, who would know?" he finally cornered her against the dresser. He brought his mouth close to hers and heard her whisper 'No one' before he took her into his arms and kissed her their final kiss before they wed.

"You ready, honey?"

"Yep, I'm getting married!" she shouted joyfully, almost childishly.

"Yeah, you are." Han said and gave her a shaky smile, almost mournfully. His little girl. How could he give his only little girl away to another man? Especially a Fel man! "Well, let's go." He offered her his arm and led her to the auditorium of the church.

First came Alema Rar up the isle holding a bouquet of Correllian roses. Followed by Tahiri Veili and then came Tenel Ka, all walked gracefully, slowly toward the front. They all wore long light lavender gowns that swayed with ever step. Almost sparkling in the light glow of the chapel.

Then came the bride, slowly rounding the pew, on the arm of her father. Jaina could see all of her friends and family. Her uncle was in the front row, along with Mara, little Ben and her mother. She glanced to the other side and saw Jag's parents along with his sister Wyn and his brother Cem. Scattered throughout the room were different alien species: Mon Calamari, Wookiees, Chiss, Barabels, Twi'leks and more. All the womens' eyes glistened with tears.

From this distance, Jag could see tears in the eyes of his soon-to-be father-in-law. He couldn't contain his smile. The woman walking toward him looked radiant. Her smile seemed to light up the whole room. Her eyes seemed to shine with joy. His bride. His bride. Not Kyp's, not Zekk's. His. He was so lost in that dream he hadn't even realized that Jaina and Han had reached him already. Han took his hand and place Jaina's in it.

"You take care of her, Jag. Be true to her, and just be there for her. Love her, and respect her. And if I find that you have hurt her, even slightly, in any way, I'll kill you."

Death threats on the altar; this family is full of surprises, aren't they? Jag could tell the man was trying his hardest not to break down and cry right there and he understood that when Han was upset, he came off as being hostile. "Of course not, sir. I love her." he gazed into Jaina's eyes then back at Han. Han nodded and stepped back to his seat next to Leia. Jag and Jaina turned to face the minister to listen to the ceremony.

"Jag Fel, repeat after me: I, Jag, take thee Jaina, to be my wedded Wife, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better for worse, for richer for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death us do part..."

"I, Jag, take thee Jaina, to be my wedded Wife, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better for worse, for richer for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death us do part..." he repeated

Jaina repeated what the minister told her to and then they exchanged the rings.

"I now pronounce you Man and Wife. You may kiss the bride." the minister announced cheerfully.

And they danced, their first dance as Man and Wife. Jag took Jaina in his strong arms and held her close as the swayed to the gentle music.

"Are you sure you love me?" she asked, she couldn't stop smiling and who could blame her? She was a wife now. His partner. Married to one of the sweetest, most caring, loving men in the galaxy.

"More than anything. If the entire galaxy represented my love for you, it wouldn't even begin to be enough." He replied just before he captured her lips in a passionate kiss. Even with everyone watching, he didn't care. All his love and emotions pouring into her with that simple loving action, reassuring her that he really did. And he definitely did.

cry cry cry That was sooo beautiful cry cry I loved it! Of course, anything Jag and Jaina I'll read and love it anyway but that was truely beautiful. Can I add it to my Jag/Jaina fanfic archive?

I loved this! The title actually caught my eye earlier this week and I peeked and skimmed but didn't reply. Its one of my favorite songs by 98 Degrees.
