Well, Matt Stover's next Star Wars novel is called Shatterpoint. And this is the place to discuss it. Hopefully we'll see it reasonably early next year (2003).

No this is not the title to Greg Keyes' new SW book. This is about Stover new hardcover.

Is it PT era? I would like to see what he could do with republic era jedi, paticularly Quinlan Vos.

I'd somehow doubt that Vos is involved. Here's what I know off the top of my head:
You'll only need to have seen the films to read it (unlike Traitor, where you'd have had to read a whole series of books first). And I think it was confirmed by JediNet to be a prequel novel.

What? Greg Keyes has a new SW novel forthcoming? And can someone give me a link to the article that announced this book? I'm so confused.

I believe that Keyes has the final NJO paperback due out mid next year. Check out time tales thats the only place I know of to see it.

Greg Keyes' novel is coming after the Shane/Dix Force Heretic Trilogy and before Luceno's NJO finale, The Unifying Force.

I'd somehow doubt that Vos is involved.
Yeah, I was just kinda throwing that one out there.
But you never know, Luceno included some rather obscure jedi cameos like Vergere and C'baoth in
his
PT novel.

I believe you, but I'd still prefer to read this directly. Just in case the original source also includes a complete summary of the book that you didn't feel like mentioning or something.
Shatterpoint? Only one word? Weird. Sounds like another novel on the fall of the Republic.
