Temporary Midlander.....

Hey guys - I'm moving to Leicester! ...well for a few months at least 
I've been in Leicester for about a week now, and its not so bad, considering its so far north of London.... 
Seriously though, great place and incredibly friendly people! Alas, I'm at a loss for things to do.....! Any suggestions? I know there's a cinema somewhere in Leicester but I can't seem to find it!

Hey, Raj! Welcome to the Midlands!
The best person to ask is Jairen (Phill), as he is a Leicester man himself.
If memory serves, there is a VUE cinema just off the A563, close to the roundabout where the M69 ends...At least I think that's where it is; I've only been there once.

There is an Odeon Cinema as well on Freeman's Common, near the rugby ground. It's within walking distance of the town centre.

That's the place. There's a supermarket there, Morrisons, then a couple of pubs, Counting House, and a Tom Cobleys (I think), the Bingo place, and the Odeon cinema.
