I probably should have ordered that thing--I haven't seen it at any of the KB's I've checked.

I haven't seen squat at Target or Walmart recently, although Lobot in the newbie thread mentioned that he had seen some new 3.75" releases at the 27th st. Target.

Is anyone looking for anything specific? I'm looking for a TIE fighter, to be sure, and I wouldn't mind a Mynock hunt Chewie. My store should be getting it's unleashed figures soon, and while I don't collect them, I will be most joyous if the Han Solo and Fett unleashed figs are in the wave that we get. As usual, I'll let you guys know when we've got them.

Aslo, I'd like to do a collectors meeting again one of these days, and it's looking like later in September might work, depending on the scheduling. I'll let you guys know as soon as I figure out what's what.

Hey all - i just thought I'd let you know...

I've posted different times in different threads sending you to check out my website, so I'm sorry for the "shameful plugs," but...

I've updated my website, and it now contains a listing of my entire Star Wars collection, as well as a couple dozen pictures of my "cooler" items... If anyone is interested, feel free to check it out... I wouldn't want to even hazard a guess at how many items there are, but it is quite a collection (at least in my eyes)...

My website can be found here

A direct link to my collection can be found here

Again, sorry for the repeating plugs... wink

Another collectors meeting sounds good to me. I've had zero luck finding anything new. I'm not sure what wave they are, but I am looking for Wat Tambor, Vader with the removable helmet, and a Snowtrooper. I've seen them in a comic shop for a laughably high price, so I know they exist. !@#&$%@ scalping #@*&#%$@.

I've seen the tie fighter at Kaybee a couple times for $30. I want it really bad but I've been trying to budget lately. Maybe if I just substitute the cost for another, let's see ummm maybe the cell phone bill won't get paid this month. Or I could just start eating catfood one or two days a week.

I saw Vader and Snowtrooper at TRU, no Wat Tambor.

About 5 years ago, I gave my ex-boyfriend a TIE Fighter. I should have kept it. What the heck was wrong with me?

I picked up Boba Fett Pit of Carkoon at Walmart. They had Anakin secret ceremony with his robotic hand, Hoth Han Solo with blue lightsaber, and a new arena battle Mace Windu.

Went back to kaybee and of course they're all sold out of Tie fighters.

I am in the Milwaukee area, and I have alot of Star Wars figures & related items for sale.
We are moving, & I could use the extra money for the baby.
My home phone number is: (414)482-2250
Email me at: braszeja@excite.com
It is known that I am the only person, in the world so far, to have an authentic 12" Boba Fett upside down, mint in mint package.
Also, have Phantom Menace items, Pez display and the Pepsi R2-D2 cooler.
Please call me if interested.
Thank you.
Ben

Dude, I said ask if there's going to be another meeting, not offer to sell stuff. They don't dig that on these boards.

Ditto what BYOB said. Gotta watch it with the advertisements--this thread is about collecting, not profitting. Use ebay for that sort of thing--it'll save you some hassle.

Now for a little update on what's out there:

At the Menomenee Falls WalMart: Clone Wars Anakin, Yoda, and Mace Windu; factory chase Padme

At the Menomenee Falls Target: Same figures as above, plus new Rebel Trooper and Imperial Officer. Also, they have a full shelf of the new cinema-scene 3-packs (the wave with Dooku at the startegy table on Geonosis and the Jedi Council from EP1 that does NOT have Yoda in it). They also have the new Republic Gunship, Jedi Starfighter, and AAT. No shelf tags for the green A-Wing, however (which is waht I'm currently looking for).

Brookfiled Square TRU: A whole lot of nothing. It would appear that they are slow in getting new product in, but they still have the "Ultimate Bounty" 4-pacls, which are pretty cool.

Brookfield Square KB: REALLY nothing. They have older waves of EP2figs clearance-priced for $1.99, which is good if you're looking for a couple of Red Clone troopers for Army-building, but that's about it.

I'll be checking out the Northridge TRU , Walmart, and Target tomorrow--I'll report in with findings.

Also, for what it's worth, the store which I work at received 2 cases of the 3-pack cinema scenes that are OPPOSITE the ones I listed above. I still haven't put them into our store computer, so they are still sitting in the case. If anyone is interested, pm me and I'll let you know when I expect to put them out and what our store's retail will be. Also, I'll probably be doing a Lego order for our toy dept. relatively soon, and there are some cool SW Lego Sets available. Let me know if you're looking for anything in particular, and I'll see what I can do about adding it to our order.

One final note: The Hasbro site is now running it's Jedi Points auctions, where you can TRY to redeem some of your points for interesting toys/collectibles. From what I've seen, some of the bids are WAY out of line from what the average person might have in the way of points (10,000 and up), to the point at which I think people are either dealers or just bs-ing. Check it out if you have the time or inclination.

Happy hunting out there!

Jason

OK, here we go:

Northridge TRU: The Battle of Hoth Set (of which I picked one up--it has a nice Tauntaun w/removable guts, a never-been-done R3 droid, Hoth Leia, Hoth Luke, and a really nice-looking Chewie), several newer waves of figures, most notably the Pit of Carkoon Boba Fett series. None of the Clone Wars figures with the grayish cards yet--I haven't seen many of those around. They also seemed to have some newer Action Fleet stuff.

Northridge Target: Pretty blah, but they did have the cinema scenes 3-packs that the Menomenee Falls Target had. On an unrelated note, they also had the new McFarlane NFL figures, which look really nice. If anyone sees a Shaun Alexander (RB for the Seattle Seahawks) out there, can you please let me know? My buddy is friends with him, and I know he'd like one (and seeing how he's in Iraq right now, I doubt he'll be able to pick one up himself).

Northridge Walmart: Didn't get to it due to time restraints.

That's it for now, I suppose. If anyone sees anything new and exciting out there, please post it so your fellow collectors have a shot at it before the scummy dealers in the area get to it!

Happy Hunting!

Jason

Walmart hwy 100 & layton

analysis droids from the deleted scenes

clone war anakin with new card

Lama su with young clone (5yr old?)

Hoth Han solo with lightsaber

Luke skywalker ROTJ duel.

different Count Dooku (I forget what the caption read)

The luke skywalker was pretty cool. He's holding his lightsaber over his head ready to strike down.

I forced myself not to buy any. But then I went to BestBuy and bought gamecube $100 and Rogue Squadron 2. Some discipline.

Easy there, Jakefett. I've gotcha beat--I bought the Gamecube for $150, and my only game at the time was Rogue Leader. Careful, its addictive. Oh, and by the way, the guidebook is hard to find (I've tried every Gamestop in the area, looking for new and used copies), but I'm trying to score one on Ebay--after playing "Leader" for a while, let me know if you're interested in borrowing it (assuming I can get the stupid thing). Have fun!

Yeah--I'm kinda working on that. My problem over the last 2 months has been a rather nasty 6-day a week work schedule, coupled with obligations on my Sundays from now until November. I may be able to do something here sometime in early to mid November. I would of course support any of our fellow collectors volunteering their facilities for a little get-together as well, and I'd do my best to be there if it was this month.

Is anyone here interested in action figures from the newly released (though I've yet to see them in stores, myself) Clone Wars action figures? I stumbled onto a case of them (4 each of Anakin Skywalker, Yoda, ARC Trooper) and have some lying around.

PM me if you are interested.
