#1 in the nation Byrnes (Duncan, SC) lost on Friday to Dorman 35-28. Big upset. There will be a new #1 then and Byrnes will drop mighty far. I think Dorman deserves to get in the top 50 after the win too.

I have not been surprized by an upset, in awhile.

The only time I was really surprized was when De La Salle (Concord, CA) lost a few years back, after having the longest winning streak in the nation. The De La Salle team of the mid 90's was the best at that time. They scheduled out of state games, even taking on an E. St. Louis team that was realy good, and winning.

Speaking of De La Salle, they're still the best team in northern California, if not the state. I got to watch them last year in the sectional championships against the school I attended and witnessed an absolute beatdown.

Byrnes dropped out of top 25 while Dorman moved up to #14. Trinity, TX is the new #1
