Went to see "Angels and Demons" on Tuesday...
was disappointed....

I read the book several years ago...where I don't retain a lot once I am done with books...I seem to remember them blowing off a surprisingly large plot line...

wasn't the Camarlengo REALLY the son of the Pope...not just a "foundling"?

The book was really long and filled with a lot of detail....and so it makes sense that they could not cover everything...

 

I went to see "Up" yesterday...
not 3D version..

It is an amazing movie...
Pixar people are geniuses!

 

Sweet, I'll have to take my son's.

 

I see so few movies anymore.

I have to disagree Ed, I loved Star Trek. I'm not a big fan of some of the newer stuff, but really got into this. Maybe because I'm a casual ST fan, I liked this.

 

So, next up on my movie list for the year is,


ICE AGE 3D

If you have sceen 1 and/or 2 and liked it,

you will like this.

I thought it was a little better than 1 or 2,

but then, I did see it in 3D,
and
gosh darn it, they are getting kinda good at that.

It really did give a little more impact to some of the visual jokes,

otherwise, no great music like UP, but nothing bad either.

It is on my recomend list.

Going to see "Avatar" tomorrow...
not in 3D though...
not sure how I feel about 3D...

I KNOW that a lot of members of CF has gone out to see it...

Bought the new "Star Trek" movie on DVD and watched it again
forgot how much I REALLY enjoyed it..
