    HI,

well, the digital version of the film was GREAT,
    and the non-digital was ok
(yes, there I noticed some differences)

but, I really miss high quality sound.

I can still remember back in 1977
insisting that everyone I know go to
the Esquire theatre because of the sound quality.

for now, both of my viewings were met with
    people in the audience saying......volume!

And so, can anyone recomend a theatre with
great sound, for at this point size matters not.

Yorktown has 2 THX auditoriums I know. Cinemark Melrose has a great sub woofer, although dialog can get muddy (no problem for this movie though!)

Went to AMC 30 Cantera, 1st 2 viewing the sound was very quiet in Theaters 15 and 16, but saw for 3rd time last night in Thater 17 and sound was dead on. Read many reports of poor/quiet sound quality, no Surround, ect. Maybe something went wrong with the prints? Just my best guess.

If you get a chance, there is a theater in Elk Grove Village that not only has Sony DTS, it is projected on a Kodak DLP, the theater is small and not stadium style, but damn if it wasnt the best all around experience. 7.50 a ticket too, i know I am going to go back there for any future viewings.

    Thanks for the update,
I am heading there for my next viewing,

my Imax trip today, had better vision
(yes non-digital, so I even saw the film errors
more clearly) and had better sound, but not GREAT.
