I live in Lafayette, but I have to go to Baton Rouge to get on the internet.

I'm a Star Wars freak! I live in Baton Rouge. I own and have read 98 books. I own some figures. I own the videos. I'm just a Star Wars freak! Anyways...

Just thought I should let everyone know I exist. Call me at home. I'm always looking for a STAR WARS fan to talk to.

I am especially looking forward to the ATTACK OF THE CLONES. After Episode I, I have been craving some real action and an element of danger in the Prequel Triliogy. I don't know about everyone else, but Jedi against Trade Federation battle droids was not too exciting. The only pulse riviting stuff was the Bongo sequence and the Darth Maul. The Bongo stuff because of the sea creatures. The pod race was not too bad, but I knew Ani would win. I had a feeling or something.

 

Hello Swampsurfer! It's nice to talk to a local. I agree with you about the duel at the end of TPM. That was easily the most exciting part of that movie. Hopefully, AOTC can match (or maybe exceed) some of that excitement.

For instance would this PM mulptiple recepients at once?

I don't think you can. All I do is type up the message and before sending it to one of the people, "right click" on the text and copy it. I then paste it on another PM to the other person. That way, you will not have to retype the message again.

Great! I would be more excited, but our group is not growing as fast as I had hoped. It is hard to generate interest in these Forums. If you post an add somewhere it is not supposed to be, you get bashed and locked. Know what I mean?

I have been working hard to make this board interesting and organized. If you know of anyone either in the Forums or a personal friend in your area, have them sign up. I have a few SW friends that I don't think visit TF.N, so I sent them e-mail invitations to join. Nothing happened yet. I also ordered business cards with the URL on it to pass out when I go to SciFi movies (Like when I went to see E.T. this weekend I noticed this closet fan admiring the poster, I said hello and commented on how great I thought the movie will be. He said he did not want to be spoiled, so that sort of put a lid on topics of conversation.); and when I am walking around campus. I might even draft some flyers.

I could use all the help you can give. Work the Baton Rouge area. Its a real challenge to build something like this from scratch and I am enjoying it, but I hope I do not get discouraged.
