    Wow. A month since the last post. But anyway, I decided to go back and do some work on the oceans, fixing up the shallow water and adding quite a lot of variety to everything. So here's the last final ultimate update to end all updates.

    [image=http://www.angelfire.com/alt/3d-duckboy/Alternate_Earth_Final.jpg]

    Curiously enough, all the shallow water was created using a single area of the coast of Brazil....the country, not the renderer.

    EDIT: Thanks, Crunchy. Actually, I could always find some spare time and whip up a planet texture for you just to get myself in the credits. Of course, I first need to get a response from the damn webmaster at the NASA site. I had someone download about a gig's worth of images (two 21600x21600 ones), but they aren't actually image files, so I don't know what to do with them. Hopefully I'll have an answer soon.

    Looks good! If you weren't already making these for another project I would have invited you on ours.

    Very nice texture job!

    The water update looks great, diabloblanco17!!!

    Could you post a new render of a planet with the updated texture?
