    I'm reading the second book right now and so far they're okay, not great, but okay.

    I think it's cool that they've tried to take a noir tone with this series regardless of how good the execution is.

    I am not having a "good time" with it...

    pretty much zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

    the story is kinda all over the place...

    I gotta say how disappointed I am. Though I haven't read the books, I was looking forward to... Not anymore. The cover's are terrible though?so maybe you can judge a book by it's cover.
