AOTC Soundtrack is online!

Well, it's on the usenet servers right now. And rest assured this is the real deal. I totaly plan on getting the official release when it is available, but I couldn't resist getting an early listen.

I am not looking at any of the track names either, but I must say...this is really sounding awesome and I'm only 3 tracks into it.

Just wanted to give some people a heads up.

On the usenet servers?

Uhm---so like how do I access the usenet servers?

 

Usenet Servers are also called Newsgroups. Your ISP might have a news server that you can connect to, or you can go through a pay server, like I do.
The one I use is called Easynews.com They give you 6 gigs of downloads a month for 10 bucks. A pretty good deal I say.

If you do get connceted to a news server, I found the soundtrack in: removed, LFL has asked us not to allow links to this.

I don't know about Morpheus or Kazza. I can assume that it will eventually flood into them, doesn't all music..hehe
I don't use them though. I just stick to the newsgroups.

I wasn't even looking for it when I found the soundtrack, it was just there.

I don't think it'll be on KaZaA until at least tomorrow...

 

The only downside to that is if you do not want to read the track titles.

 

I don't know how newsgroups work or anything, but I know a few non-spoilerish track titles. I really only want to listen to ONE of those songs. If I don't have something to tide me over for the next 51 days, I am going to go stark raving mad, and this board is like skating on thin ice to put it mildly. I keep trying to stop coming in here, but it is easier said than done!

 

Okay who wants it raise their hands? I have tracks 1-5 and 9, though I can't guarantee 5 and 9 work right.

Plus, the track titles might be considered spoilers. Just PM me with what you want.

Track #2 is "Across the Stars" btw, so I think you want that one.

OMG, you guys, you have NO idea of how beautiful it is. It fits Star Wars, it fits Anakin and Amidala, its tragic sounding, its sweeping-

Basically if you had any fears of it not living up to...whatever..trash those fears. This song is amazing. I teared up just listening to it- not only because its great, but also because its just so...full of soul.

Okay, so I just started to read the soundtrack review on TFN, and I saw the first few track listings. That was enough for me. How is that not spoiler?

 

It's a song? Are you sure it's not by Celine Dion?

Seriously, yeah, I really want to check this out.

Holy crap is "Across the Stars" a catchy and beautiful song or what!? For the people that have heard it, did you notice on parts of the song you can actually hear a few notes hear and there from "Princess Leia's theme" 00:37-00:55 and "Anakin's theme" 02:01-02:26? John Williams is a friggin genius. I also love the part where the tempo speeds up a bit and you hear the all to familiar Star Wars drums and trumpets, very Dual of the fates! This song is an instant classic if you ask me.

So far so great Mr. Williams.. and Mr. Lucas I might add!

Is this a fake? It has to be...if it does end up on Kazaa, chances are it's a fake, and you'll never know....

Well several sites have their reveiws of the Soundtrack up, so chances are it's not fake.
