As always, depending on dates Id be up for this.

We had fun last time we went to the Armouries and I enjoyed the trip into town to Forbidden Planet of course, as always!

 

October perhaps and maybe a curry afterwards?

For me, just avoid these dates in October - 25, 26, 31 & Nov 1,2 and 8

I'll be on a trip darn south then

 

I greatly approve this idea, but I work alternate Saturdays so may not be able to make some dates. (Meet in London on Oct 4th with PulsarSkate and co, big party on the 18th too)

 

my brother is coming to visit and when i told him about this he wanted to go. so i might not be up for this with you guys.

 

Sorry guys - gonna have to count me out of this one...Octobr has suddenly become REAL busy....enjoy the trip though!

 

We have Nov too- I know the weekend of 7/8 nov isn't good, but there's always the weekend after (the last weekend of the exhibition).

Darth-F: you could always bring your bro to meet us (completely up to you, of course)

Me and the bf popped along to the exhibition last weekend and tis definitely worth a visit! If you go at the weekends they seem to have special events on, we went to a free talk by one of the sword maker guys and got to hold the original Sting from LOTR

Went other week, it was good...But nowhere as big as I'd of thought that the 'exhibition' would have been...also...NO PHOTO'S >.< But all the other stuff was cool as I haven't been to the Armouries before.

 

yeah i'd have to agree with that. my brother took a lot of pics tho without flash.

i think i would have liked handling some of the swords or something. they could have done more than display them but it's quite thrilling to see the witch king's gear and stuff.

 

I had my phone out, the woman at the door looked at me, then looked away...I then took a picture of Peters armour from Prince Caspian...and my phone made the camera noise that you cant turn off >.< was well annoyed when they said, "excuse me, no photo's"....I was ****** off at my phone that day...

meh...

 

yeah that's meh, definitely.

we didn't have no problems with the camera but i haven't seen any of the pics yet, they might all be rubbish.

I'm wondering myself, Coz.

At the moment, it's just the two of us up for this, so unless you fancy wandering around Leeds with me for the day, then I guess it won't happen, lol...plus it won't be classed as a proper meet if there's just the two of us!

Coz: How long do you need in terms of getting travel sorted? I don't want us to buy tickets for this, then no-one else signs up. I'd suggest we give ourselves a cut-off date....
