Sorry if already talked about it, i did a search but didnt see it.
I watched The Empire of Dreams again the other day and notice that during the Ben/Vader fight we see Ben's cape cut in two and its buring. It seems like a pretty cool idea but if i am right it doesnt happen in the movie. Does anyone know why its missing? Could they not get the fx right? From the little scene in the making it seems like it was working pretty good.

That's probably one of those small things that wasn't necessary for the final film, so they didn't bother with it. Also, it was 1976-77, so perhaps the FX techniques available in that day weren't good enough to fix that little bit.

Another question is why does Ben's body disappear, leaving the cloak behind, but when he see his ghost later on, he's not naked... ?

But he didn't leave his CLOTHES and cloak disappear.

But naked Obi-Wan, well, if it was Ewan...

I don't think the cape was really meant to burn onscreen. The pyrotechnics used to cause it to break set it on fire, and a flaming cape would have interfered with the illusion of him disappearing.
