I drink way too much coffee to make a keurig worthwhile, but I could see having one if I only drank one cup a day.

Has anyone ever been tempted to put their mouths underneath those coffee bean dispensers in the store and fill their mouths up with coffee beans?

No, but there's probably somebody who has tried it. And it's probably up on YouTube somewhere.

Sounds like a great idea for the break room at work.

It would be difficult to weigh the beans to determine cost.

Of the non "other" choices, I'd go with the Stove-Top/Percolator, but I voted other, this is how I start my mornings:

Take in bathroom scales, subtract your before weight from your after weight.

I have a drip pot, but I'm a fan of the fancy coffee machines that I'm not willing to pay for.

French Press is second to 'Have someone else make it.'

French Press FTW. The fact that it's French is just a bonus. To really get the most out of it, get a coffee bean grinder and use whole beans instead of pre-ground. Unless you can grind them at the store. But still, fresh ground is the best.

rumsmuggler - French press is only approx. $15-40, much cheaper than good quality drip coffee machines. AND, it's a lot faster imo, you just put in the beans and the water, stir it, wait about 5 min for best flavor, press the handle down slowly and, voilĂ  !

I already have a good quality drip machine, but I'll keep the French press in mind for the future. Also a decent espresso maker.
