Have you gotten the new Bounty Hunter video game yet? It looks good so far based on some adds I've seen in magazines.

 

No I haven't....I have no extra cash for any of the new SW games.

The only thing I have see so far that is new, is about the PS2 Game. only I do not own a PS2, yet. .. if I am lucky that could change on Dec 25th. hehe *crossing fingers*

Yep, hopefully you'll get your wish. That game is also out on the Gamecube, but I take it you don't have that system, either.

At a recent convention I attended, someone won 1st place in the costume contest for their Jango Fett costume. That outfit was darn near perfect...just needed a better connection of the jetpack to the back. I'll post a link to that pic when I remember to upload it.

 

For those interested, it looks like they've uploaded some new Fett icons for the JC. Just take a look at the first page of New Icons and you'll see what I mean.

I have just about all the armor and parts to the costume, now all i have to do is paint and trick it out with all the electronics.

Very nice.

I've seen Fett costumes (both Boba and Jango) at conventions. It's a really sweet touch if you can manage to get a headset involved with your costume. It also helps you talk to others without having to take off the helmet.

If nothing else, find some 501st members. At least for the headset part and wiring it in, they should be able to help since many of them make their Stormtrooper costumes with speakers and mics.

And of course you can join, YVW.

Ohhhh I am a member of the Local 501st here.

I have my helmet rigged up to have the earstalk rotate down upon a push of a button, plus i have the voice changer in the helmet so its all good. I already have everything how i want it and how i am going to do it. Its just the long process.

 

Bah! At least I brought some friends along to help keep it afloat this time.

I don't think I've seen any of the Fetts having their antenna rigged to move up and down automatically, so that should be a hit.
I have seen some add LEDs to their helmet. It can be a very cool effect, too, if you don't go tacky and do a good installation job.

 

Our jetpacks and chest armor will light up, the LED on the range finder will lightup and the gauntlets will too. we are putting around 1500.00 dollars into this. and we are doing three costumes. We are doing ROTJ, ESB, and the special edition costumes.

 

Whoa...now that's some project! If y'all get those three costumes looking good, any plans to do Jango Fett?

 

We have a member in the FanForce who is doing A Jango at the same time. Its pretty cool! We will have one big happy Fett family!

If I had the money...a BF costume would so be mine...


But maybe I should just go with a Jek Porkins costume instead.

 

Hehe...or you could just be a really big Boba/Jango Fett. I've seen a few Royal Gaurds and Stormtroopers that were quite large (tall and/or wide). Just make sure the costume is as accurate as possible.

You know what would be cool, JK88? If y'all could hook up with a kid in a young Boba outfit.
Then it would be one big happy family.
