Ok, I'm curious about this. There are only a few of these toys that I want and I don't want to have to go constantly to BK. I thought we could just post a little heads up each week to report what they're selling and who's gotten what.

As I think I heard, Jabba is this week's toy? Who's got something?

 

Are you purposing a trade system? I am hearing that the Vader is already becoming hard to find.

Here is how the BK toys are shipped. Each case has 200 toys in 5 different bags. Each bag contains 40 toys, 39 of one character/vehicle and 1 Darth Vader.

And on another note... They gave away a bunch of those toys at the Denver Charity Premiere, and I have a very short list of what I consider to be the best ones

Wampa - Because he is so cute!
Grievious - His wind up saber action is flippin' hilarious
Princess Leia - She's a viewfinder, and it is just ALLLLLLLL kinds of wrong

 

I am all over the BK toys because some of them are just too cute.

There are 31 total, they come in waves of 5 with Vader being the 'chase' toy.

Each store will have one of these sets at any given time. So, if you go to one that has Jabba, they probably also have Han, the Falcon, Wicket and Luke (and possibly Vader).

Getting what you want depends on the BK and employees. Nice employees will let you hunt for what you want, others are not so generous. The dude at my BK gave Heather and I an extra toy for free.

stateless... You guys scored the Vader already, too, right? I didn't realize those things were distributed in such low quantities.

Yes, I do have a Vader. I suspect they're not necessarily as hard to come by as people think, though. My mom was at a BK over the weekend and she said they had quite a few.

If anyone is looking for one, it's good to find a BK with nice employees who are willing to do a little digging to see if they can find one.

 

well the people at my BK suck. when I asked about the toys they looked confused. Finally I said, well can I see what toys you have? I ended up with Jabba, Luke, the Falcon, and Han in Carbonite.

 

I'll be hitting all the BK's around me this weekend. I'm now on a mission for Vader, well 2 really because Brandon is all about Vader these days.

I really wish I liked BK. Now it looks like I'm stuck going there. Sheez.

 

The Palpy/Obi-Wan wave is popping up. Found them at the Kingstowne BK. Those were two of the ones I wanted, so I was happy. Too bad I seem to have missed out on Luke and Jabba.

 

I went to a BK after the movie last night and got all of Wave 2.

 

Ok now I have waves 2 & 3, but I fear I missed wave one. If anyone happens to find a BK that still has wave one in stock, grab me what you can and I'll pay you back plus do something nice like buy you a whopper for your trouble or something like that.

 

If anyone ends up with an extra Obi, I'll take it off your hands! There are no BKs near me at all!

 

I'll see if I can grab you one Eugenia. I have a BK near me that has them still I believe.

BTW Liz, I got you a Yoda.

The Chesapeake rest stop off I-95 in Maryland had wave 6. They were very nice and let us rifle through the bag to pick the ones we wanted... heh heh. (MACE!)

Wave 6 is out!?! Good grief, I swear I'm going to have to turn to ebay to complete my collection I fear.


BTW, Eugenia, do you still need a Obi-Wan?

nope! but I found 1 for me!

My BK (Potomac Mills)sucks. they will only let you get the toys with a kid's meal! Anyway I could only get 1 toy! I asked thinking I wouldn't get lucky if they had any Vaders left. They had 1 so it is now mine! about time! I will try the BK by my work this week, Wendy. I still need quite a few, like Leia and R2.
