Sac, CA C-4 Information thread

That's awesome! I'm going and now I want one! ha ha

 

I am going to the one on Sunday. I didn't even know about the one on Thursday, untill I said I was going on Sunday. I thought there could only be one, lol. I am sticking to my Sunday, too much to do in such little time.

But I think we have the same time in line for C-4 store on Thursday so I will see you there.

 

Sunday is Rebel Legion + friends, Thursday is 501st.
They're going to be two crazy mixers!

Hmmmmm I was looking in the aforementioned rebelscum calendar/ guide and on Sat and Sun there is this entry

10 am - Autograph Hall (Fisher, Lloyd, DeLisle, Kane, Lucas, Weed) (Hall HJ)

Now is there someone else named Lucas or could Rebelscum know something...hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

if only it were true, but the Flanneled one is not the Lucas you see. It's Mat Lucas, a voice actor who did the anakin dialog in the various video games. Speaking of which the lovely and talented Grey DeLisle(Bastila Shan) will also be there.

 

Attention Rogues: I decided to depart late Tuesday morning 5/22, so I can make it before the convention center parking lot
closes at 8M Tuesday night (don't want to be stuck OUTSIDE the parking lot all night in downtown LA).
Sooooo, we are leaving even earlier. Charge up the main guns! Deflector screens on double front!

I'm afraid I won't be able to make it to my scheduled time at the store, cuz I have to go the the 501st mixer, then to the El Capitan Theater for the "Pirates 3" midnight show. Dale and I will be at Official Pix as guest escorts from 11:30 - 4:30. From there we plan to go the artists room and get some limited edition prints and then to the store. You can come with us if you like!

 

Just like you to have three places to be at the same time. That might be possible. I will have Mum in tow so we'll see how she will keep up with me.

I hate to say it, but I've just decided, after thinking it over much, that I will not be able to attend C-IV after all. Back in November I was planning to go because I really thought my financial situation would have been resolve with a new, more consistent job. Unfortunately that has not happened yet. The school districts that I am sub teaching for now have been very scarce with subbing assignments and so I have been looking more than ever for work elsewhere (preferrably outside of the k-12th teaching field).

For those of you who I was supposed to share a room with, and I believe Devin was one of you, I hope this will give you enough time to find a room mate to take my place.

Nasus, I understand that there is about a $50 cancilation fee for the room. I can pay it; no problem. I just can't afford the whole trip to C-IV like I originally thought I could. Also, it has been a long, wearing couple of weeks for me so I am not really up to going to the hectic Los Angeles area at this time anyway.

If you can all wish me luck and/or keep me in your prayers that I will find more steady sufficient work soon, I will greatly appreciate it.

I'm sorry once again that I have to cancil out. I hope you will all have a great time over there, in which I'm sure you will. Tell me all about it when you come back.

Someone please help? I just found outr from my dad that He will have to be heading back on Sunday. Our room is still paid for until Tuesday. If anyone is willing to possibly give Russ, my Aunt Debbie and myself a ride home to Sacramento on Tuesday we'd all be able to stay... Please contact me at the convention since I do not know when I'll be able to get back oncause at the moment I do not have internet services. I am currently using a Internet hotspot to send this out.

Since I'm sure those who are still staying till Tuesday wont have much room with C4 purchases etc. why dont you rent a car from Enterprise or Hetz? They will pick you up from the hotel and take you back to the lot. The price for one day should be relatively low.

 

you might also check out Greyhound and Amtrack prices as they are also relatively low. I know our car will be full to the hilt with table stuff and Boba's collectibles so I know we couldn't even fit one in. Sorry.

 

Due to both you and LDV canceling on the room, we are having to cancel it totally and Maric Corde will now be sleeping in the parking lot with R2-Tatto and Ekimnotslar. The date for it only being a $50 cancellation fee is long past. They are going to charge a FULL day rate to LDV's credit card and it will be up to the 2 of you to resolve the $193.00 total. Just wanted you to know so that you could be prepared financially when LDV gets ahold of you.

 

On the concrete? what happened to the RV?

We're going to eat Saturday night at a great mexican restaurant nearby (3 miles away actually) called El Cholo.

This will be for the SVRF to all have a meal together while we're down south.

 

At least you guys get to hang out together. We'll be spread out for most of the weekend. FYI, there's a free fan mixer at the convention Saturday night from 9:30 pm until midnight, and Dale's birthday is Thursday, but some of us plan on going somewhere more "adult" for him on Friday night.

 

I'll have to check with our friend, Sandy, who is going with us to CIV. For now, go ahead and count us for 4.

 

I have no idea what I am doing Saturday night. Count me as a "maybe" and I'll let you know asap.
